Hiya - new hear and planning our first trip to DLP.
Going in early April during school break for a surprise trip for my dd's birthday. Still very much in the planning stages and trying to sort through the wealth of information on the board.
My first question (for now - there will be sure to be more in following days!) is in regards to disabled persons and cost of admission to parks and hotels. I am disabled and use a wheelchair or mobility scooter (not sure which would be best at DLP so if you have input on that it is welcome.) I have read about what is needed to obtain disability access and that will be no problem. My question is this - We are thinking to buy AP's for the 3 of us, but I hesitate to do so if I can get a better deal by waiting to buy admission at the park. From what I read, carers get in free. My dh is my carer. Does this count? Does he need to have a carer's card (like is used to get into cinemas) or is it enough for him to be helping me. If he does get in free, for a 4 day visit will it be more cost effective to buy an AP or buy admission at the park? I read in a post about someone having a disabled AP - I can't find any information about what that entitles me to and how it is different from a regular AP.
TIA for all your help! I look forward to learning more and making this a magic trip for my dd and me and dh too.
