Don't know if anyone can help?

I'm heading to DLP next month with my mum and dad. Dad is almost 75 and unsteady on his feet, but doesn't have a blue badge (he fell in town this week and is quite shook up). He struggled managing the walk from the car park last time we visited together which was 4 years ago and we're at the Marriott so the shuttle bus is not great - and to be honest the walk from the bus stop is a bit much for him. Is there any chance we'll be able to park in the disabled parking which is near the Disneyland Hotel (or could I drop him and mum off there and then go and park the car). I've read the guests with disability booklet and it doesn't help!

any ideas??

Without a blue badge or a medical certificate stating the disabilty (less than 3 months old) they won't give you acces to the Disabled parking.

The other thing you could do is follow the signs to the Disneyland Hotel and leave them infront of the main doors then go back to the main car park.

They could wait for you inside as there are seats or if it's nice out in the gardens near the main entrance :)

Thank you, had a feeling that may be the answer. At Disneyworld they just allowed us to use the disabled parking but I'd read that France was stricter. Does a letter from his doctor count as a medical certificate do you know or is it something more formal? He'd be exhausted by the time he'd walked from the car park so me dropping them at the hotel may be the best bet!

I'm not sure but I think you may have problems actually entering the DLH (or any other hotel) parking area without a hotel pass or booking form. There are people on the gates who check these.

The closest I can think of where you could drive to would be the train station so I would definitely get a letter from the doctor to try first.

That was my worry ... I think I'll ship him off to the Dr and see where that takes us - it can't hurt
