Hi, I am disabled and I get very stressed and overwhelmed. I am off my meds to prepare for pregnancy making things worse. I am trying to get maps of the four main parks showing photopass locations, maps showing pressed penny locations for all four parks and downtown Disney, and most importantly a map of MNSSHP. My computer isn't working properly so it's hard to print stuff out. I would happily send someone a self addressed stamped envelope if they could send me one or more of these maps. I could also PM my info. I am going to Disney on October 23 and could use these ASAP. This would really help my anxiety. Thanks so much. I truly appreciate any help.

Thank you for your suggestion. From what I understand they don't have the photopass or pressed penny locations marked. They also don't have the MNSSHP map. I called the disability phone number and the lady said she can't help me.

Are you looking for maps that mark accessible entrances? That's the kind of map that the special needs folks would have. You're looking for regular info because you have anxiety issues, aren't you? Or am I confusing you with somebody else? Your statement about being off meds due to trying to get pregnant sound familiar but I'm assuming from that statement that your disability is psychiatric in nature such as anxiety which is why you need to uuber plan. The folks in the special needs department help with special needs like accessibility and allergies and things like that.

I understand the need to plan, I really do. I've got an autistic daughter who I have to plan every detail for. That's on me to do, not the special needs folks at Disney. The info is out there available for me to find so that's what I do.

I would recommend looking around a site like easywdw for detailed general touring info. It's a wonderful site with tons of great info.

The best resource I know of for all things photopass including magic shot info is stitchkingdom. He does have maps plus details of where to find each magic shot.

I believe that nobody has the MNSSHP maps yet. Until the first party, I don't believe that anybody will. Sites like easywdw will likely have touring info for the parties and I'm sure people on various websites will scan and post copies after attending the parties themselves but right now I just don't see it being possible to get this map.

I don't know of a map showing pressed penny locations. Sorry.

For printing, it would probably be much faster and give you much more control over your own printed materials if you downloaded the pdfs, saved them to a thumb drive and then brought them physically in to some place like Kinkos for printing. This way you don't need to worry about shipping and you're in complete control instead of depending on a stranger which I would assume would cause more anxiety than having control yourself. You could also print them at a 1 hour photo place if you'd prefer but you're probably more limitted in the type of paper and sizes that way.

Thank you for your help. I don't think I've mentioned anything about my disability here before. It is a psych disability. Your response is very helpful. I will look into those sites and options. Thank you ever so much.

I must have been confusing you with somebody in the past who has mentioned something about going off meds when trying to conceive. Sorry about the mixup. I'm glad the info was helpful which was what I was trying to do.

This board can be a great resource for strategies for coping with different types of anxiety at WDW. The community board is a great resource for non-WDW specific questions. Are you familiar with your triggers? If you ask specific questions (for example, is there a quiet place to decompress in the parks if getting overstimulated/overwhelmed, if that's a particular problem for you) then ask away. Planning, as you're doing is DEFINITELY a huge help. Being prepared with coping strategies is also big. My own planning includes backup plans for my backup plans so basically I can handle any issue that may come up.

The first MNSSHP is not until September 13, so there will not be a map available until after that.
Here are 2 pages with information about last year. There is some information that will help you with planning and they usually scan in a new map very soon after it is available.

The parade and fireworks are pretty much the same from year to year. The characters that appear may be different. And, the biggest difference this year will be that Toontown no longer exists, so some of the things that took place there will take place somewhere else.

When you are looking at maps on the Internet, if you find a map that includes Toontown, it is an older map and not up to date. If you can't find a newer one, you can just block Toontown off the map.
You can download a current map of Magic Kingdom and the other parks from this site:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/MK.htm

This site has a list of pressed penny locations, but it is not up to date since it includes Toontown and a shop called Tinkerbell's Treasures that no longer exists. I will see if I can find you a more up to date list.
http://allears.net/btp/pennylist.

Also be aware that sometimes you will find a pressed penny spot has been moved, the machine no longer has the pictures that are on the list or the machine is not working.
The Photopass locations also do not always have someone working in that spot. They will have at least one all day near the park entrance at each park. Other locations may not have a Photopass person there during times it is not busy.

I don't know of any maps that show Photopass or pressed penny locations.

I really like clanmcculloch's suggestion to download maps to a thumb drive and then take them to a place like Kinkos to print. I have printed things before at Office Max or Office Depot. Those work well too.

If you print several copies of each map, you can make notes about different things on the maps. Like one map has the penny locations marked, one has quiet, decompression spots, one has photo spots.
A lot of people who have anxiety issues make themselves a personal tour folder with things like maps, lists and plans for each day. You might also find that to be helpful.

Thank you all so much! I think I have figured out how to get most of what I need. I have been working on putting together a planning binder. Passporters e-worksheets have been very helpful along with the designers on Creative DISigns. I found a very up to date list of pressed pennies with descriptions and locations on presscoins.com. It was last updated in August and Toontown is not listed. It also has images of the coins. I printed the printable list, sized it to fit in my Passporters and highlighted my favorites. I will be using ridemax for my touring plan and I think I'll mark that plan when I'm near favorite coins. For finding autographs I'm trying to accept that I can't preplan. I am reminding myself I will meet the pooh characters at Crystal Palace, some assortment of the princesses at Akershus, and I should be able to get some nice photos with characters at MNSSHP. Planning to line up early for the dwarfs then over to Cinderellas carriage. I have seen maps locating the photopass spots but they were pretty out of date. I do have info about the magic shots to try to remind myself to attempt to get a few. I am trying to be patient and wait for the map from MNSSHP to be posted. I can borrow my mom's computer, she just makes a big to do over it. When I get very worked up or upset using an icepack is very helpful. For some reason I find it soothing. I am thinking of picking up a few of the ones that you break and they get cold immediately. I am also considering getting one of the cool towels I've read about. The cheaper option is to request a cup of ice at a snack place. I need to remind my husband to help me with that if I get disregulated. I'm also going to try to leave a bit of time in therapy to come up with other coping strategies. I have another question but I think I'll post it in a separate thread. Thanks so much for the many helpful suggestions. You have all been wonderful!
