Good Morning all

Hope you are all well

Well the good news is I have recieved my MRI results after 5 weeks, although Im still going to need to have surgery there was no cancer or anything sinister found

I cant tell you what a relief this is after waiting and comfort eating for the last 5 weeks!!!

So this week I have rejoined Slimming World, have put on half stone and Im back on plan. I now weigh on a Monday night so I shall do a new thread every Tuesday if thats ok with everyone

Thank you all for your good wishes....now lets get slim

Nice to see you back Sue! I am so glad that nothing too sinister was found, although your need for surgery is just a little worrying! Fingers (and toes and eyes!) crossed that everything turns out ok.

I've not been online much myself, more due to the Mac being hogged by everyone else, but the lifestyle change is going ok, 1.2 kilos off during my hiatus. I finally got into size 16 jeans, and they are now the only pair of trousers I have that fit properly, all the others are being held up with ties, belts, etc. I did have my annual check up with the nurse for blood pressure, etc, and she was happy with the results as this is down and the resting heartbeat is excellent! Before I started losing weight I was really close to needing medication for this.

Ah Sue I'm so happy that nothing sinister is going on. Good luck with your surgery. Have you had anything done before? I've never been put under so it's a curiosity to me what it must feel like going to sleep.

Well done Cathy! That's brilliant. It's always nice to get approval from a medical professional as well.

I'm afraid you're all going to be a bit grumpy with me lol...

I weighed myself after my holidays and I actually lost 2.2kg... in Orlando! WHAT? I think it was all the walking we did.

I've smashed my target. Now I just need to maintain. This thread has been a fantastic motivation for me so thank you everyone.

I started with a BMI which said I was over weight. Here was me at my worst...



And two and a bit months and over a stone later this is me now. (well photo was taken exactly 1 week ago) My BMI is good now and I'm just hoping to sustain.

Update for this week, I moved my weigh day to Friday as I was out at a reception last week for the DS and the Scotland West GB Special Olympics squad and had a very merry time ! However I weighed today and I lost yet another 0.6 kilos!
