Morning all

Hope you are all having a good week:chat:

I have weigh in tonight and Im not expecting much of a loss as my week has been pretty poor, my own fault to be honest as I havent made great choices when picking up food.

I know I go on about it all the blooming time, but when my kitchen is finished in 3 weeks, I really hope to go back to normal.:crazy2:

Good luck for the week everyone and look forward to reading your updates:flower1:

Fingers crossed for you tonight!

I haven't reported in a while, but after a terrible couple of weeks recently, I have managed to loose the 4lbs I had put on.

This week, I have managed to loose 1.4lbs, bringing my total lose since starting WW in June to 8.6lbs! :cool1:

Now that I am back on track and loosing "new weight" (rather than weight I have put back on), I am feeling more positive.

I have also invested in a JawBone Move Up, a clip on activity tracker which also links up to my WW account, which allows all my activity be transformed into PPs! This is really helping me to motivate myself to move more!

Good luck everyone with all your weigh-ins! :thumbsup2

Well done, it's always a better feeling to be losing rather than getting back to where you were.

I have stayed the same this week. I'm OK with that as I've not been totally in control of my own food this week.

Keep up the good work everyone!

yey, well done you! I completely understand what you mean by losing new weight vs gained weight. :yay:

Let us know how the JawBone works... i was interested in buying one of these for myself.

Staying the same is better than gaining. Well done. :thumbsup2

This week I've managed to "gain" 0.4kg even though I can't quite get my head around why. I feel like its maybe just a weight fluctuation so I'm not going to worry about it unless I gain again next week.

Fortunately I've still got plenty of time to hit my target.

I've also got my mud run on Saturday! Two days to go! I've been running loads and can run the distance required but I'm worried about the obstacles! eik! :scared:

It's actually going really well.

The iPhone app is very good. Gives good tips & shows your progress quite well. It doesn't have a digital display, it is blue led lights which take a little getting used to, to work out exactly what it is telling you. But easy once you get the hang of it.

Plus points so far for me are:-

It will pick up if you are doing a workout, and will ask you to input details i.e. type of workout (walk, run, weights, zumba etc) effort level, start time & duration (these will be automatically completed, unless you are manually adding a workout, i.e. forgot to wear it!)

It picked up that I went out for a quick walk at lunch time, I added in the activity type & effort level, and then updated my WW app which showed I had earned 5 activity PP.

Once the device has synced with the app, you can see your most up to date stats, and can set the app to give you a summary at a certain time - mine is set to give me a summary around 8.30pm.

You also get a weekly email of your progress.

There is an I will option. Sometimes the app will give you challenges that you can reject or accept. So for example, the device will suggest each day what time you went to bed and what time you got up (this is fairly accurate - you can adjust the times accordingly). If you aren't getting your 8hrs sleep, the app can suggest an I Will challenge of I will go to bed by 10.30pm. Or it will offer an I Will challenge to walk so many steps.

You can set your daily number of steps goal - mine is currently set at 6,000 to encourage me to move more (desk job), and can track how you are doing. At the moment, the app is telling me I have completed 100% of my goal with 6,037 steps.

You can buy the wrist strap, to wear the device while you sleep. I bought one on eBay for £4.00. Once synced to the app, it will show you what time you where in a light or deep sleep.

I bought mine on Amazon (I got the blue one) for £29.00, but I see they are selling the black one including the wrist strap for £27.99.

I had a FitBit clip on device a few years ago, but I definitely prefer the Jawbone.

0.5lb is still a good lose! Well done!

Good luck with the target - 0.5lb is within reach now, you did it this week! :flower1:
