Hi Guys

Welcome to another week, well done on all the losses last week and good luck for the coming week.
I went to see Peter Kays Phoenix Nights on Saturday in Manchester and I'm afraid I ate and drank all day, a real blow out for me and I'm dreading weigh in on Wednesday but will still go and hope for the besto_O

Best of luck for Wednesday! With hope the damage will be minimal.

After spending most of last weekend being miserable about my weight gain, I was driving myself slightly crazy with weighing everything I ate, and making sure I went for a walk/did some exercise every day. Anyway, when I weighed myself yesterday I had lost 1.5 kilos!:jumping1::cloud9::cloud9: Still pinching myself!
I only have 0.2 kilos to lose and I will have lost 3 stone overall since August. Hopefully I will get that this week, and spend Sunday working out my
next targets. Small goals and dreams seem to work best for me as thinking about how much weight I want to lose in total is just too big a stretch.

I'm with you on big targets, Cathy. I just concentrate on losing at my next weigh in! I find that if I set myself goals and don't meet them, I just go to pot. Just wanted to post how pleased I am with myself today: my brother and his partner have been for lunch today (a flying visit, on their way home from London to Manchester). It's one of my 2 days, as in only 600 cals today and tomorrow. They all ate sandwiches, crisps, soups, biscuits and cake. I had a bowl of soup for 120 cals!!! So chuffed with my will power. Just hope it pays off on Wednesday at weigh in! I only need 1/2lb to get to my 5% weight loss and that is a lovely low target this week!

Pam

Well done Cathy thats excellent, good for you. Looks like it all paid off for you:jumping2:party: Well done on your overall weight loss as well thats amazing. Good luck for next week!:cutie:

Well done Pam, thats great willpower:duck:Esp when people are sitting around you tucking in. I also agree with you and Cathy about small goals, whilst I have an overall target that is way way in the future and each week in class we concentrate on how much we would like to aim for for the week, which is about as far as I like to think ahead:rolleyes: Good luck for Wednesday Pam:)

Well done! Couldn't have done that! Fingers crossed for Wednesday and your ½lb and 5% weight loss.:dance3:I'm just looking for that 0.2 kilos this week!

Got the husband to work out my percentage lost (hopeless at arithmetic!), I was quite shocked!

:scared1:Well, the scales said I have put on a stone !!! :scared1:

I know I haven't, so I will get some new batteries later and see what the scales say then.

I had the opposite problem, my scales showed I was 2-3 kilos lighter! It was a disappointment when I put the new batteries in:sad::sad:
Best of luck when you weigh yourself again:grouphug:

Well, just checking in. Didn't go to weigh in today. It's my birthday, and DH planned to take me out for the day, which was very nice of him. We don't do much for birthdays, we are very lucky in that there is nothing we need, so if we see something during the year we get it then. Out for dinner tonight to one of our favourite country pubs and then back into the old routine tomorrow! Hope everyone has a wonderful week and you all get the results you want and deserve.

My scales sometimes can't reach a proper weight, but it's usually because I am trying to balance on one leg to get a lower reading!

Pam

OK I have put in new batteries and the scales now say I have lost 2 lbs! :)

(If only I could really lose a stone just by buying new batteries.)

Very relieved.

Awh Happy Birthday for yesterday Pam, :bday::bday::bday:I hope you had a lovely day, and enjoyed your meal last night.:flower3:

Well done Libby, fantastic lossparty:

Well after the weekend of drinking, eating and general merriment at Peter Kay in Manchester, I was convinced I had gained, but to my great relief and surprise I managed another 1.5lb loss, which is now 1st 11.5lbs loss in total in 10 weeks:):flower1: Im so pleased with that. My next goal is to try for 2.5lbs next week for my 2 stone badge:yay:

Hi everyone - been missing in action for a wee while, not near a pc and the app wasn't working - logged into Dis last night to find all these lovely new boards!

Anyway, i've lost count of what I've posted on here, but my weight today is 5lb less than it was when I first started a few weeks ago so i'm happy with that. I usually have a 'free' day on a Thursday when I weigh myself, but have decided not to today as I'm going to a ball on Saturday night and want to fit into my 'slim' dress, lol.

Well done everyone on your weight losses. They say that February is the month everyone gives up on their good new year intentions with diets, so stick in there. You know what they say...'summer bodies are made in winter'!

That is an amazing weight loss in just 10 weeks especially as Christmas was during that time. Well done!

Joining in on this if that is ok :wave2:

I lost half a pound this week which I am quite happy with as I had a bad weekend and went wine tasting on Tuesday followed by cold meats and cheese. Since October I've lost 13 and a half pound.

I'm getting married in May and I'm being fitted for my dress in March. I needed to have lost a stone by then (so at least I know that will be fine) so I'm going to keep pushing myself to see how much more I can get rid of. Also, we go on our Disneymoon in September so I will carry on losing weight after the wedding for that too.

Well done everyone :cool1:

Hmmmmm, I weighed on Tuesday this week as I was staying away on Tuesday night and going to the Making of Harry Potter on Wednesday. I weighed exactly the same as last week, not too disappointed with that but I feel a gain coming on this week as I came home feeling deflated and a little down and I have been cheered up with bacon and brie sandwiches, curry and chocolate... and then there was the valentines dessert... oh well, will write it off if it's that bad and start all over again!
I know I only have myself to blame but I wish I could just have a week of nothing going on and just feeling good and actually get my weight below where I was before Christmas! Gah!

Never mind hon, we all fall off the band wagon on times, draw a line under it and start again, well done for staying the same this week, and good luck for next week:flower1:
