I know that something will be going on untill 9.30.06 with the visa card, i think like a free photo or somthing. But we get there on the 1st is there anything special going on then with the card, i can't find any info on it, but i thought i'd just check in. I"m sure that something will be going on with the visa due to it being the 1st day of a "million dreams"... Any ideas.?>

It's interesting that on Chase's Disney Visa web site, it says this perk expires on 9/30/2006. However, if you look at the web site where you apply for a new Disney Visa card, the fine print says this perk is valid through 9/30/2007.

I don't know if the application page has a typo, or if it (as a sales page rather than an existing customer service page) has received the first update that this meet 'n' greet will be continued for another year.

I also have the Disney VISA and would love to know that info also!! I am hoping a code or something comes out for us first before the general public so I can save money somewhere, LOL!!!

I want to kow if you get perks as well? I heard there is a special character meet and greet wit a free pic. If you can buy special pins where is that? Any pros who cna help us out?

I don't remember exactly where I read it (I'm guessing Budget or Family Board), but I think someone called to ask & was told it was being extended.

I called into chase and asked whee the meet n Greet was for them.

I was told it is in
EPCOT AT Innovations West from 1:30 to 4:30 daily.

I hope they will have it still going on or do something new for Disney Visa card holders! When I was there last year in Sept. my friends and I did the Disney Visa Meet and great with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy and it was so much fun! And our picture looks awesome! You just have to make sure you go and look at the pictures right away and buy them that same day or you will not be able to get them.

You don't HAVE to buy them you get 1 free 5 x7 but yes it has to picked up that day.

The pins you can buy at the main stores at WDW- the pin shop in DTD and maybe the emporium. They are not sitting out you actually have to ask for them.

The perks for the Happiest Celebration are through 9-30-07. The character meet & greet/free photo at Epcot AND 10% discount at World of Disney in DTD w/a $50 min purchase are the only ones I remember.

I called two weeks ago to order my card and double checked about the promo. I had read that the benefits were extended an extra year, but there were conflicting reports so I wanted to confirm.

That is great to hear. We arrive on Sept 30th but we were not going to Epcot til the 3rd so I was sad we would miss out on the free photo. So glad to know we will be able to get it now.
