Who'da thunk that the Childress-Favre soap opera would have been eclipsed by Childress-Moss?!?
I was already thinking about lines linking Favre to "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", like "I'm not dead yet..." or the Black Knight: "Your arm's off!" "No it's not...'tis but a flesh wound."
But now I'm thinking how the whole Moss thing is like one of those super-collectors who just paid a zillion dollars for the Batmobile, didn't realize that it doesn't actually have a working motor, and just found out it won't fit in the garage, especially since he's sleeping out there 'cause his wife threw him out for spending the money in the first place...buyers remorse and all that.
Sometimes I wonder if it is all part of some huge Belichick scheme. "Look Randy...you want a vacation. We want to save a few bucks. We trade you for a draft pick, have some fun for a few weeks, do your 'off week' routine when we meet up...and if we can get you back on the cheap, we'll talk about next year..."
Anywho, the No Clue Crew regained sole possession of the top of the MKC after defeating the rival Reedy Creek Smoke Eaters in a close 108-101 battle to take High Points, while the other #1 team Jungle Cruise Skippers put up a pitiful 52 points against Agent P's 97. But that wasn't the low points score - that went to Wheezy's Warriors, who lost to the Yetis 62-45.
In the ECC, High Points went to Team DoleWhips for the 100-62 default of Grumpy Dopey, while Plutes Cowboys battled the Brother Bears for Low Points, with the Bears takin the "prize" 43-41. At the top of the leaderboard, T-I-double-guh-err and The Fins both won to keep the stripes one game ahead of the porpoises.
I would have given anyone who had the points leader this week a Benchwarmer award - but no one had Garrard on their roster
Now back to the waiver wire!
