...and the Vikings fans may be seeing Tavaris Jackson start yet again.
I also learned the fate of Jon Kitna today - starting Cowboys quarterback, now that Romo is out 6-8 weeks.
But the NFL praised the players on a clean hit week, at least.
Here are your scoring leaders this week:
Darren McFadden, Oak RB - 196 yds, 4TDs, 43 points
Kenny Britt, Ten WR - 225 yds, 3TDs, 40 points
Really?
Starting with the ECC for a change, High Points went to T-I-double-guh-err, defeating Pluto's Revenge in a 131-125 shootout, with the Revenge getting second highest. Neither one had McFadden or Britt, no less - and the striped ones even left Arian Foster active on a bye week, and Romo's 5 points. And with The Fins losing to to the Disney Chiefs 88-69, the tiggers are also alone at the top at 6-1.
Low points was similarly contested between the Boardwalk Buskers and Grumpy Dopey, with the dwarves earning this week's title, losing 45-42. And they also got a Benchwarmer award for McFadden - who's 43 points beat the active lineup. And the team should be renamed "Sleepy" - 3 byes left active. Maybe David at the apple...
In the MKC, the No Clue Crew regained their winning ways - or at least had a premonition to play McFadden this week - by beating Dis Uk 121-74. Low Points went to the Reedy Creek Smoke Eaters, losing to the Jungle Cruise Skippers 98-50, and dropping the Eaters into a 3-way tie with JCS and the No Clue Crew for the top at 5-2, with next week guaranteeing that there will be at least one less team at the top, as the Crew and Eaters face off...
And even though the Magic Knights managed a slim win over the Everest Yetis, 80-79, I still have to give them the Benchwarmer award for Britt. Seriously, any player, even if its a 5th string TE that no one would ever play, that scores 40+ fantasy points is going to get you the Benchwarmer award...
Now back to the wire!
