Love the podcast, especially in the months before a trip.
I especially enjoyed the overview of the concierge package for the DLH. I've seen pictures and read accounts, but hearing it made it obvious that it's not for us this year.
I also enjoyed the banter about the "Just back. SO fun but DL food sucks!!" thread. I saw that thread last week, and could relate to it: the first time we were at
Disneyland, we were disappointed with the food. Reading that thread I realized why: the first time you see the parks, they feel so huge, overwhelming even. You eat at the first places you find by noon (Pizza port, Tomorrowland Terrace, Hungry Bear), and you pick the most comforting food you find. The great restaurants are all less obvious at first (the warf in DCA, Troubadour is hidden away, even the Mainstreet eateries don't look like much until you find the menus).
For this year's trip, I had to do more research as our DD decided she doesn't eat meat. To make it easier, I put together an iPhone/Android page with basic restaurant menus:
iOS/Android Disneyland California menus
These are short versions of the full meal deals, and they link through to the Dis and Allears (sorry!) menus. It's part of my trip planning, but a few other people have found it useful, so I thought I'd let you guys know.
Keep up the great podcast. I look forward to it every week.
