I'm having a hard time picking my "part" to share with the group.

Oooh! I forgot that assignment! I'd better get busy!

I didn't realize there was an assignment. I will have to think about that.

So I watched the movie from on demand over the weekend. I like the movie because I did NOT read the book first.

I don't have a lot of time to read lately so I went to itunes and bought the audiobook. I can listen to it at work. I just started listening to it today.

Oh I think Jasper is weird. He looks like he is taking a dump all the time. So I'm not on the Jasper team.

My mom bought me the movie (I was at an all day *boring* meeting on Saturday).. she's so great!!

I had seen the movie, but I wanted the DVD. It just doesn't compare, but I think the actors/actresses choices were good. DH kept having me explain things to him, so from that standpoint I can imagine that the movie is confusing.

My little Twilight themed mementos are coming along nicely (if I do say so myself). I hope everyone will like them.

What's this about an assignment? I missed something?

I've found my passage for the sharing time.

It wasn't easy to do because it is a page from Midnight Sun (my favorite of the series), which can't be printed or copied. It took quite a bit of effort at lunchtime doing a screenshot and pasting that onto a PowerPoint page, cleaning it up so I could read it, printing it, and putting it in a plastic sleeve so I could bring it along with me. But it was worth it.

I started watching the dvd yesterday with my dd(9). She's really chicken when it comes to this stuff, but she wants to see it since several of her friends have read the book and seen the movie. There's not much blood and guts in it, so I told her we can watch it "during the day", when it won't be so scary. She must have asked me 100 questions! We stopped it after dinner when it started getting dark, and I kept reassuring her that it's just a story and vampires aren't real (whether we like it or not). She slept okay last night, so I guess we are good to go with the second half of the movie. She might have to hide her eyes during a few scenes toward the end, but I think we can do it. Wish us luck!

I should finish Breaking Dawn tonight. I am gonna be sad that it is over, but I saved Midnight Sun until last, so at least I have that to look forward to.

I enjoyed the movie, yet I don't think I would have if I hadn't known the story already. You miss SO much. DH liked the movie, but it still didn't convince him to read the books.

So, I watched the movie, and I have to say I was very disappointed in it. I enjoyed the movie, don't get me wrong. But, I hate it when they completely change the point of things. When Bella saw Edward sparkly wasn't it a good time? In the movie, they were angry.

And, I thought in the movie overall, both Edward and Bella both were frustrated too much.

And, finally, nice brand recognition. Bella didn't have a great computer in the book, but in the movie she had an apple laptop.

I was dissappointed with the meadow scene too...DH watched the movie with me (again for me!) last night. He poked fun at the movie and didn't like it. I keep telling him the book is better...he is putting it off.

Can't wait to see what New Moon will be like!

I read New Moon way too fast - I am re-reading everything (including reading Twilight simultaneously with Midnight Sun!) and got soooo much more out of New Moon this time. I should finish Eclipse tonight.

One of my co-workers did the audio books - but her copy of New Moon in audio book was broken up into 2 sections, and skipped about 5 chapters. We set her up with a borrowed copy right away!

I'm a bit over halfway through New Moon. For some reason, DP won't leave me alone to let me read. He actually wants to spend time together and do stuff on the weekend. Go figure. Its not that bad. So far I'm not voraciously reading it though.
