The donated stroller is a Fisher-Price comfort lite LX. Here's a couple of links with picture & description:

Can be used for a child up to 40lbs. One hand fold. Padded dual buckle 3 point seat belt. Cup holders and trays for baby and mom. NOTE: The baby tray is no longer with the stroller. Comfort-fit pad adjusts to give baby proper support. Lightweight aluminum frame. Peek-a-boo window so you can see through the canopy. Large storage basket. Weather shield to protect the baby from the elements. Weight: 19 lbs. Folded Dim: 36" x 22" x 13". NOTE: For fold up--make sure seat is in recline position.

RULES ARE LIKE THE PREVIOUS STROLLERSWAP--
Check to see if your dates are available. PM goofy4wdw59 to be added to the list. ("PM" is personal message--just click PM on the bottom of the post)
Please contact the person before and after your swap date with NAME, RESORT (ONSITE), and a CONTACT NUMBER and plan your swap(s).
Then, PM me with the details so that we know where the stroller is suppose to be.
Please pass on the stroller CLEAN--the pad isn't removable for washing, but, can be wiped off with water & mild detergent.
Also, add a LIME green ribbon (for the DIS) and take a picture of yourself with the stroller. Please send your picture to KathleenFL to add to the picture strollerswap thread. There is a disposable camera with the stroller/in the stroller bag that swappers can use to take a picture of themselves with the stroller.
KathleenFL has donated a scrapbook that travels with the stroller. Fill in a page with whatever you'd like. There are some supplies with the scrapbook, and, swappers can bring additional items when needed.
It's up to the swappers if they'd like to pass on goodies with their swaps.
I will post your name on this new list as soon as possible. Please check your PM's as that's how we communicate! First to respond will get available dates. I will keep a wait-list for plan changes/cancellations. "Sitter*" dates are available to use--just let me & the sitter know for updating the list.

I did just PM you like you said to....

I would love to have it the June 4th to the 8th (also I am around before that if it is easier to hand off on the 3rd, and have 2 non park days (9th and 10th) that I could stroller sit if it makes anything easier for anyone.

I just sent a PM requesting the stroller for July 18-24. We will be staying at the POFQ that week. That would be great if we didn't have to drag ours through the airports.

what do you do with the stroller when a time frame is "open"?....we'll be down in the parks when it's listed for someone else, but there's 2 days in April that it's open that we will be in Orlando...if need be, we can "store" the stroller with us for the 2 days...unless it's kept on-site somewhere?

Though our DD's have outgrown strollers, for the DIS I'd be happy to look after it for those 2 days..I can deliver it back to the resorts if need be.

We'll be at Swan April 3-10th. Is this a stroller we 'borrow'? Is there a cost? Sorry for my ignorance, but this is the first time I've seen this.

Hello log!
Yes, this is a stroller that passes from one DIS'er to the next. No, there is no cost--it is for DIS members to use while vacationing at WDW. It gives DIS folks a chance to meet in person if they can work it out--chat for a couple of minutes & pass on a stroller. Otherwise, swappers drop off & pick up the stroller at resort guest services.
Last year, a strollerswap was started with DIS members meeting each other as they "swapped" a stroller donated by Rileygirl. She passed it on to mom2of2, and, mom2of2 organized a list (see old strollerswap thread) of swappers & has been keeping track of a stroller for over a year!
Your dates are available & you would be the first one to use the stroller after me. I will put you on the list for April 3 thru the 10th.
We contact each other through "PM" (private message--see the bottom of posts). You will need to be familiar with it--PM is easy to use. I will send you a PM to begin planning our first swap! Hopefully, we will get a swapper for April 10th thru the 13th. Keep watching our list for updates. You would contact / PM the next person on the list to organize your drop-off swap.

I haven't visited the boards since our impromptu visit in January, when we were able to "visit my favorite blue stroller", as my 3 year old put it! The couple of hours that we finally had with it were pure heaven for her. It made her whole trip. I am thrilled that the legacy lives on! Here's wishing you much success (and a little magic) with the new SS!

I was going to buy one in Walmart when we arrive (where is the nearest one to WDW Coronado Springs anyway?) but if there's a chance of joining the swaps that would be better. Mind you, we're not going till March 2005 so I'll keep an eye on the board.

Having discussed with my Husband we've now decided to take our own stroller, as it reclines, has hood, raincover etc. (and we know how to work it!), but as our youngest will be 5 1/2 then, and we are not planning to go to Disney for a couple of years after that we thought we might donate it to the stroller swap. We could leave it at the Coronado Springs when we check out.
Would anyone be interested in picking it up?

I don't see an icon to "pm" you so I'm replying here. The current DIS StrollerSwap II ends in March, 2005.
You may want to do a separate post about this to see if there are people interested in picking up your stroller.
Eventually, people could start working on a "DIS StrollerSwap III"-for the next year, March 2005 to March 2006? Your stroller may start off the next round?
