Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom - Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet. And the lunch buffet has a very large variety and incredibly delicious.

Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot -- great food and accomodating to children. If you go later like 12:30pm+, there are Morrocan musicians and a belly dancer who invites children to practice belly dancing with her on the main floor. Kids who are not shy seem to enjoy this.

Akershus in Norway in Epcot -- character place with some princesses but I don't know if that's at lunch too. Check.. Never ate there but a friend liked the dinner there.

Not Lunch, but.... 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has a character breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is with Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Pooh and Tigger. Dinner starts early (4:30pm) and has Cinderella, Drizella and the step sisters, and Prince Charming. I enjoyed the food at breakfast.... dinner next trip.

My 6-year-old says that her favorite meal was the princess breakfast at Akershus in Epcot. She also enjoyed breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian and the Crystal Palace meal with Winnie the Pooh and friends. I had ADRs at GF for Cinderella's dinner, but they were running over an hour behind when we got there, and my DH got fed up waiting to be seated so we left. DD cried for a long time over that - she was really looking forward to it. Pretty much all of the character meals we did were very enjoyable for her.

Akershus has the princesses there at lunch, too. It's a fave with my two DDs (ages 4 and 8) who have eaten there twice, and they liked it better than Cinderella's Royal Table (so did I in terms of character interaction and it was 1 TS allowance on the dining plan at Akershus vs. 2 TS at CRT). They also liked the Crystal Palace and a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's that was nearly an early lunch time the way we planned it that day. I think our ADR for Chef Mickey's was for 10:30 or 10:40 a.m.

Whispering Canyon cafe at the Wilderness lodge is a lot of fun for everyone in the family!!

That is frustrating. What time was your ADR? I'm hoping if I schedule the ADR when 1900PF first opens at 4:30, won't have to wait long.

It was for 6:00. It was also during free dining, so I don't know if the restaurant was extra crowded because of that. They said they had a large group that was taking a very long time and wasn't leaving (happened at Crystal Palace earlier in the week, too). They kept telling us "5 more minutes", then finally admitted they had no idea when we'd get in there, so DH got fed up with it. We never had a problem with breakfast reservations running late like that, so next time we'll just stick to those instead.

That happned to us too- it was last December. We got there at 5:45 for a 6:15 ADR. They told us they probably wouldn't get us seated early, but that they always tried to get people seated no later than 15 minutes after their ADR. We finally got seated at 7:15 or 7:20, so we had about an hour and a half wait--- with a hungry 3 year old- not fun. There were a lot of cranky families around. Thank goodness for the Piano Player and the gift shop upstairs, without them we couldn't have made that wait either. We had to feed poor DD a snack from the gift shop because she couldn't wait.

DD loves CP (Pooh and Friends) and CRT (Princess) at MK; Biergarten (German band and dance floor) and Akershus (Princess) at Epcot; at AK we only do breakfast at Tusker House (Donald and friends); however, if you haven't been to them other places Rainforest Cafe can be fun for the kids;

I agree with all of these (although we haven't been to Whispering Canyon yet, we are going this trip though).

I will add Chef Mickey's to that.
