DIS oldtimers (well newtimers too) where are you?

Hidee ho, people! A very old DIS original here!!! Hard to believe its been over 20 years! I was here on the forums even before the redo of 1999! I have remained dear friends with many of the gang from our 2001 DIS convention. I am truly thankful for that.

Bill and I still get down to Disneyworld at least twice a year. My disability causes some issues. But I'm not ready to quit yet We have grandkids to share our trips with. Bill and I have started snowbirding. We'll be down south from the end of January until the end of March. We did this last year and it was just wonderful. We'll be at Fort Wilderness February 20-March 3. Looking forward to being back in one of my happy places.

Great to see you stopping by, Barb, for real. You say over 20 years; it's been over 25 years! And that 2001 DIS-Con holds so many great memories, so many good people, so much fun.

Good to hear you are still getting there twice a year. That was my routine also, but have not been for over 8 years now. January to March down south, sounds good to me. Enjoy that FW, a fun resort for sure,

I don't actually participate in @Imzadi's Award show threads, but I buzz through them sometimes. I usually see your sister, Nancy, enjoying those show threads. Great memories of you guys at WDW, Barb.

Hi everyone:) Haven’t been here in ages. Also haven’t been to WDW in ages..I’m thinking it has been about 17 years. We used to take our 2 kids to WDW every year and they are now in their mid-30’s 😳 😆.
We are finally going back to WDW next year with our Daughter, Son-In-Law, and 3 Grand-children!!
Woohoo, can’t wait!

Hey all, Only been on these boards for a little over a year, but a Disney fan for over 60 years. First Disney trip was to DisneyLand when I was 10 way back in the 60's! Been hooked ever since. Now my oldest DD and my Grandkids are fans. My youngest hates crowds so not so much for her.
Been DVC since 1996.
We had to take a 10 years off to care for my MIL after a major stroke, as of 2 years ago, we are making up for it.
Next trip to WDW in 7 days, that is if the plans are flying.
Then off to DLR after the holidays.
These boards have really allowed me to catchup on the changes that happened during our hiatus. You just can't Disney like you did in the old days.

Gotta admit, not loving all that Disney did, but still loving the parks, resorts, and vibe.

Have a blast!! Going with the grandchildren and seeing their eyes light up is the best!!
