Everyone's good. I just had total knee replacement so I was out of commission for a while, but I'm getting back into the swing of things.

I'm jealous about the trip. Hope you're having fun!

I am kindda stuck in the middle of oldie/newbie...I feel old though! I remember when I first joined the DIS I was only 15!!! Now I am 23
But I remember sitting in 10th grade biology class on my laptop and the DISboards were not blocked on the schools server. I would sit there all class posting thinking about the next trip my parents would take us on...ahhhh those were the days! I still got a 94% in the class though so no harm no foul! haaha

Hey everyone. It's nice to see some more oldtimers posting here. I don't get back to the DISboards as often anymore, but I still consider this place my "home". Thanks to the DISboards, I started making an annual pilgrimage to WDW every December since 2000. I too miss the good old days, but am always looking forward to bumping into old acquaintances at WDW as well as making new friends along the way. Thanks for all the updates!!!

John, I know what you mean about this being "home". It's still that to me too. It's so nice to come to this thread and so many familiar faces. For me, DIS-CON was the best trip to WDW ever!! Meeting everyone was the greatest and maintaining those friendships for these past 10 years has been so much fun!! I love going to WDW and bumping into someone from the DIS!

We'll be there the first week in October and I hope to make a short trip early in NOvember. I would love to go back to my December trips, but real life gets in my way.

Hi John! You an I rode Millennium Force at Cedar point together! Still the best coaster I ever rode!! Lacey, my DD who hung with your DD (Sarah??) is currently doing the Disney College Program!

I don't think we've been back to Cedar Point since that trip. Sarah is a senior at Mount Union and will be doing her student teaching in Naples (Florida) this spring. Congrats to Lacey. I hope she has as much fun doing DCP as my son James did. Sarah hopes to work for Disney Cruise Lines once she graduates.

It was great seeing Tuffcookie at Yankee Peddler on Saturday. EpcotKilterFan and her mom were there too. We put together the very first NE Ohio DISmeet all those years ago. I've made so many lifelong friends here on the DISboards. Many thanks to Pete for making those friendships possible. I can say with certainty that the DISboards has changed my life for the better.

Just saw this thread. I think I qualify as an "old timer" in more ways than one. Started reading the boards again recently due to a Disney trip.

Came across Dan's message about Snoopy/Judi--heartbreaking. I never met her, but I saw her messages and knew that her husband was secret service. So sad for her and her sons.

Carnac is correct. BUT, it is on my DVR to watch. AND I think of you every time I see that part of TGMR. Also when I see that TMC is playing Duck Soup. They also have one called A Night in Casablanca. WHat does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Or in Casablanca?

But to your previous assumption, it just seemed unlikely you would respond before a quick viewing of the #1 movie of all time.
