I guess I'm one of the old-timers, been here since May of 1998, even though it says 99, but we all lost our original posts with the board crash way back when.

I first found this site when planning a trip in the summer of 2004. It was so much fun I kept coming back after our trip was over. I have learned a lot here - and not just about Disney. Thanks for the fun.
. For me the DIS is something very important in my life. I love being able to meet so many new people from so many different places. I have never had so many friends before and I hope that amount keeps growing

Hello! I first started lurking here when I was planning a 1999 WDW trip. The trip got sidetracked (we ended up in Hawaii instead!
), but I finally registered when we decided to book a DCL cruise for 2001. I used to hang out on the riddle threads. I had to take a break when work got really intense for a while, but I've been lurking again for the past month or two.

Actually ... forgive my beer-fogged haziness (I went dancing @ Marquee tonight) ... I am about 90% sure that I haven't met Dan. He might've been sighted in passing a few years ago at the Dolphin, when I met some of the lovely ladies of the DIS.
