I was one of those too! I was posting on the boards before vacations, and lurking/inactive between vacations. I kept changing e-mail providers and couldn't remember my old screen name, so I've had more than one screen name over the years. This one has stuck for a while!

I'm pretty sure I found the boards in summer 97, but they didn't exist prior to that. Can't say for sure unless Pete mentions it in that podcast. And yes, the old start dates and logins were wiped and we had to start over in Aug 99.

ETA: Apparently the 10th anniversary podcast was the last in a 3 part series, so some details are missing. I can't find a link on the DIS or iTunes for the shows earlier that year.

Holy moly I'd forgotten all about that hilarity And then...I immediately thought of the "Chalk People" - ah, the memories I've missed the Dis so much, it's good to be back!
