I re-registered as grinningghost and that's who I've been ever since. Nice to see all my old friends on this thread.

This thread is going, now over 300, better than I could have ever expected. So nice to see so many we have not seen in ages. Steph, good to see you again, and Patti, you too, have not seen you in ages. And so many others.

Bobbi, I do think one thing which has contributed to the 'strangers among friends', as I call it, 'syndrome' here on the CB, is the many 'club' threads that now proliferate. Some of those threads number in the thousands, or even 10's of thousands of posts. I think a good number of folks hang out almost exclusively within a club thread and others here never see or know them.

So nice seeing everyone.

Ok Dan...I'm going to test your memory. I'm an old timer before the crash and the wasn't around a lot I was having babies. But you met me a while ago at the Philly meet at the Rainforest cafe in the Franklin Mills Mall with my DH David. I think if I'm right Dopeygirl was there also. I'm still around and going to disney often....I leave again soon, now I'm doing it with my two DDs ages 5 and 4.

Hello all!!! I love this Dis for how friendly everyone is to eachother. I use to be on this all the time and then my laptop fell out of a window. I just got my new one and have just been reading soo many threads in soo many forums. It is just like getting back together with an old friend, feels like nothings changed! Although I would still love to tagged one day. I worked with preschoolers for years and always escaped their "tags" now go figure I want to be tagged.

I have some old posts that I saved from years ago, I meant to respond to them but never got around to it, I read them occasionally and wonder what ever became of some of the folks that posted. Malia, YellowRose, ImAKite, ColCol

I remember there being 8 thousand registered in the spring of 2000 by fall we were guessing what day it would hit 20,000, that was the year Pete had his thing on the Beach Club.

I too remember the days of canned corn and emu legs. I remember helping come up with the whole lime green ribbon deal! After all, no other cause on the planet had thought of using lime green, and DISers must stand out!!!! I remember my first chance meeting with you, Dan Murphy, (about 5 years ago) while walking through the U.K. at Epcot! And, it was great to see you again just a few months ago at the MK!

My presence here is pretty sporadic but, as time allows, I do check up on you....often ! Despite the occasional bumps and bruises, I hope everyone realizes what a unique and caring community you've all created here. We are truly blessed!!!

Awww....Dan, you just made my night! I'm so choked up seeing that old picture of us, and I am impressed that you remembered! I had to laugh I guess looking at my signature it isn't hard to tell our favorite resort is POFQ. We love the small size and my two girls love the pool. I can't wait we were just there in Dec. and headed back in 45 days! I already have the girls summer clothes packed, we won't need them here in PA. Anyhow, keep in touch, let me know when you'll be down in the world again, I'd love to see you and have you meet my girls!

WOW.....I was just thinking about you the other day! Isn't it funny, we see people around the DIS board, maybe post on a couple of the same threads, but don't really get to know them (unlike some DIS pals you end up planning vacations with)...and still they 'stick' with you and you miss them when they are abscent. Stepharoonie, I'll always think of you when I think of AKL, so I guess that means I'll 'remember' you forever I'll be 'remembering' you when I stay there for one night (pre cruise) next November...but sure hope to 'see' you around the DIS a lot before that!
