Ooh! Gonna be interesting to see how the time changes. I think this means that we get closer together at the start of my day but further apart towards the afternoon.

Our clocks don't change back for a few more weeks.

I'll have to see if it messes with me. Since I don't have a day job, I don't have to be up at a certain time. Although the solar people are coming Monday at 9AM to start putting the panels on our roof.

So you'll be leaving and hour earlier whether you want to or not! I'll ask Fran if I can go out, but I doubt it, we have too much to do before we go on our trip...

I already set my clock one hour and I have it right now at 11:30. Don't worry, I will be down there with DAW, DD4, & DD4 mom. If you can make it that would be great to see you down there. If you can't, I understand completely. It will be fun to go this weekend and looking forward to getting the DL/DCA Starbucks mugs.

Best anyone can work out, it means Let's Just Get Together and Have Fun in Aboriginal language. It's always held on Labour Day Weekend and it used to be that the Labour Day public holiday was known as Moomba holiday. But the powers that be decided that we needed a much more dignified reason for a public holiday and we got Labour Day instead. The weekend now commemorates the signing of the agreement where workers were entitled to work 8 hours, play for 8 hours and sleep for 8 hours. But really....it's all about Moomba. It's spread out along the banks of the Yarra River and we have carnival rides, water skiing, fireworks and a parade.

Yes. March is a good time to visit. Aside from Moomba, Melbourne's Food and Wine festival is usually in March as well.
