The airfares are quite high. They have a Final days Sale blueprint sale which going $74 from Sac to OC. That is a great deal but there isn't great deals from Sacramento to Orlando. I got a deal of Orlando to Sacramento for $214.

I have been looking for rates for quite some time and I can't find a rate going to Orlando which I did find a decent price coming back to Sac. Hope you are able to find a good rate for your trips.

We're now hitting the Big Island, Kauai and Oahu so Hawaiian Airlines will be my best bet.

I see. I haven't been to Hawaii in years so I don't know what the prices are like. I did see your planned trips and you will be busy later this year. It won't be too long until you are down in SoCal. You getting excited for your upcoming trip?

They're sitting at $773 per person for a multi city right now and I'm not sure they'll drop so I need to either bite the bullet or hope for a better sale.

I'm looking forward to our trip, but I'm scared it's going to be so crowded with the 60th kick off that week. I going to miss two days as I have to fly back for a conference.

I know that you will have a great time during the 60th kickoff. Just got to plan your day out well and you will be able to do the things you want to do. It is a shame that PP won't be ready until July.

We'll be flying to the Big Island for 2 nights, then to Kauai for a week, then to Oahu for 3 nights so the $773 per person is for all flights needed for the whole trip.

Is your $214 one way? Yikes, I remember when we used to get roundtrip to Orlando for that price.

Yes. I can always cancel the one way and get the points to use it on another flight.

I love SWA so you can make changes if you need to.

That is why I like SWA even though I don't do too much flying. For all the times I went to Florida, I went with United over SWA all the time. The only time that I did SWA was going back to Sacramento during my 2012 trip. So it will be nice to go with SWA for the whole trip or unless United or another airline company has a better rate and the time I want to get to Orlando.

My little mandarin tree outdid itself this year. The tree is barely 1.2 m tall and not very bushy.

There are about 35 - 40 mandarins in this container. This was the last of it.






I've picked 5 similar sized containers this year. All were super yummy. Best of all....this is a seedless variety!!
