We're working on clearing out one side of the house. We're going to have someone come in next week to put cat nets up. It'll be a good spot for an outdoor cat run. I better get myself back out there.

It might be a couple of weeks depending on how fast they want to move on it which is also the end of a pay period.

Are the cat nets for indoors or outdoors?

The cat nets are for outdoors. We have a long, narrow side part to the house where the gas heater and water service is. It's where our clothes lines are as well and there is a laundry door to the outside. We are going to net that side off so that the cats can run there.

It's DH birthday today so I have a pork roast in the crock pot to make pulled pork sandwiches and still need to make his lemon cake.

Another busy weekend.

We've been clearing out the side of the house so that it is ready for cats next week. And then I got into my head that we needed to clear out the cubby house as well. Next time, I should know when to stop!

It took us a full day of clearing out the junk we had stuffed into the cubby house. I took 2 car loads of stuff to the charity bins and we still have more stuff in the cubby. At least the stuff we have left are things that we can sell. I hope that the effort wasn't in vain. I've taken pictures of the items and posted them on a local 'For Sale' site. We'll have to see if I get any calls in the next month or so.

I've had a very busy weekend. For the first time in forever I had a real work day. Yesterday we spent about $1000 on blinds at Lowe's. Have you ever loaded $1000 worth of blinds in and out of your car? It's rather tiring! We had to go to two different Lowe's to get 12 packs of one of the kinds of blinds. Six different windows get one color. The two bedroom windows get a slightly lighter color and then the kitchen and bathrooms get horizontal blinds. Thank god we aren't hanging them!

After that I had to go pick up a key from one of the tenants who changed her lock and didn't tell me or give me a copy of the key. How the heck does she expect us to get in to repair her broken stuff when we don't have a key. From now on I'm going to write language into the rental agreement that changing the locks gets a hefty penalty or something like that.

Today I'm doing and making a turkey. Plus I have to empty pretty much all the trash cans in the house.

I have the key now. But it was rather annoying that she was getting annoyed that our guy wasn't getting the work done, yet she could never be there and wouldn't give us a key.

That's one heck of a play area! I'd call that a massive fort!

Evidently the last time we saw this I completely missed the point of why Elphaba went wicked.
