okay so like me and my parents were talkin about it, we like cant go to six flags anymore cause of disney lol
disney just makes six flags look like crap

disney is all nice and fancy fun to be in u can feel magic in the air
and when u walk into six flags its like not the same
does anyone know what i mean?

ha yeahh lol when i went to go see the local fireworks for the 4th of july, i was like what the heck is this! nobodys can compare to disneys, and thats a fact

I know what you all mean. Around here, Dollywood is a huge thing. I mean, everyone goes. And when I was younger, I loved it, too. But when I got old enough to appreciate how CLEAN Disney is, how well-kept, I just lost all interest. I read a biography on Walt Disney, and I loved how his goal was to make Disneyland clean. He was disappointed with other parks and festivals, because they were filthy. And he did a good job.

I agree. I went to Thorpe Park recently, and even though it has awesome rollercoasters and thrill rides, it just didn't compare to Disney. There was only one section that was "themed" and that was just the buildings... Plus most of the rides are too scary for me... The best ride was this little kids ride where you sit in a train that goes around a circular track with bumps in it so it's like a mini rollercoaster

Disney is so much more amazing then that. The only problem is it needs more thrill rides to attract more people who end up going to Universal... but then who needs more crowds?

I had the same thing.
Actually I was at six flags, and all the rides were too scary, so I became addicted to this one ride. It was like...a mini circle, but it had these HUGE bumps in it, I mean HUGE. So you kinda...tilted to the side. It.Was.Awesome.

Disney certainly does have magic

However, I think Universal have it's own special kind of magic that I enjoy possibly a weeeeeeeny tad more.

UK theme parks just don't compare.

I work at a local amusement park and they said when they were developing the park 30 years ago, they called Disney (they said the "D" word) to ask about how much land to buy, etc. Apparently they aren't supposed to talk about Disney...like they are such major competition or something. Sorry, you CANNOT compete with Disney.

whens you se the magic kingdom fireworks, nothing can beat or compare to them
fourth of july is just now spent with my family we usually dont see fireworks anymore exsept like once a year with my mom and dad in disney world

yeah thats another amazing thing he accomplished was to have the idea of clean parks
that is what is sooooooooooo amazing about disney world
theres not trash all over
when ever you go it looks almost bran-new
like i went to six flags recently and there was trash ALL over, the pond was FILTHY, and there was still HALLOWEEN decorations on the tops of the stores and like in corners and crap
