I had some exciting news that I wanted to share with everyone! I went to buy new jeans the other night and was able to get a size smaller than what I've been wearing! I'm back into a 16 now instead of an 18! Woo Hoo! :woohoo: I'm so super duper happy about that! Even though my weight loss hasn't been huge and neither have inches lost but my weight must be shifting or something because I definitely couldn't have fit into a 16 a couple of months ago! I don't care what the reason, I just care that I'm not wearing an 18 anymore! :woohoo:



this is one of the best feelings in the world, change of size in jeans...

Well I lost 1/2 pound this week, so as of today I have lost 13 pounds since the challange started. It might have been better but I don't think I tried as hard the first few weeks (okay 3 weeks). I'm still disappointed that I didn't loose at least a pound this week. My head tells me that slow and sure is the way to go (I seem to be really good at that) but my emotions want it to come off faster so that I can really see something.

Michelle, congrats on the jeans. I have a pair that are a 16 and looking big and I want to go to the store and try on the exact same jeans in a 14 to see how they fit.

haven't been able to be on line until about 10 this evening
 
Okay because I was so bad yesterday I have to tell my shame. :teeth:

I think I ate everything that I could find yesterday, things that I don't normally eat I was stuffing in my mouth, I'm so bad. Hopefully today I'm back on the straight and narrow.
 
So I went to Curves today to get my work out done. I got there earlier then I normally do and noticed that the lights were still out. Okay so I figure that the circut trainer wasnt there yet. 6 other morning ladies showed up and we didnt see the trainer. :confused3: We waited for a half hour for someone to show up. We ended up leaving. :sad2:

Okay here is my gripe part.... Not only did I get our of bed early for nothing, -BUT- I was counting on today to count towards my 3 days a week quota. I have a mini trip to Universal coming up this weekend and I am not willing to use a half hour of park time just to go work out cause of someones mistake. When I go tomorrow morning before we leave I will make my claim and get counted/waived for today.

Things like that make me so angry. :sad2: I didnt go yesterday cause it was my heavy TOM day and no way did I feel up to working out. :rotfl: GRRRRR!!!!! Okay /rant

Long time no see, on this thread anyway.

So I am back after how many weeks of giving up. I am going to give it another shot.

So far all I have done is gain. Up to 288 now. I think that's a 5 lb gain for me since the very beginning. Oh well.

Hope everyone else has been doing well. :wizard:

wendypan, all curves are different in very few ways. no curves deviates from the program though.
are you saying that the curves you attend, you are required to work out 3 times a week?

maybe i misunderstood

i bet you knock off 5 lbs in a couple of weeks.
it is hot now, you will sweat it off.........it doesn't work for me but thought i should be encouraging ..........lol


you will do fine.
and, i am sure you will something within the next 9 weeks.

stick with us and we wil help encourage you as best as we can.

Actually Mac, I am the one that misunderstood. For some reason I thought I was told that you have to work out that many times a week. :confused3:

from what i have read in the curves literature and from what the owner told me, if you work out 4 times a week you will be more successful.

the ask that you strive to come 3 times a week though.

i go 6 times a week and it helps me a lot.

some ladies only go one day a week and their results are extremely slow
 
i have had to add more calories to my diet as my set weight has become a problem

i am gaining weight now and will cut out the extra 800 calories today.

i should start losing weight again by wednesday.

this happens to me at times. if i go 3 weeks in a row with no weight loss, then i have to eat more for awhile before my diet will be effective again.

i ususally gain about 4 pounds when i do this but it changes the set weight my body goes to.


if you are not losing, think about what i posted. your set weight might be the factor.

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. Don't worry Shirley. We all have lapses. Keeping them momentary is the important part.
 
ok gals, i gained 6 lbs in order to change my set weight during the week and went back on the diet strictly the other day .

got 4 of those pounds and hoping to lose the other 2 soon.




we all go through the gaining back some weight when we eat more and don't exercise.
looks like i am in good company.
we all will lose it together again.


i wish you the most encouragement possible.

i for one am getting sick of dieting and i hate to exercise.

i have to keep up the curves for the year since mr mac paid for it.
if i quit it, i have to repay him back over the $4xx.xx it cost him.
 
Mac, I think you are doing a fabulous job. You really seem to know how to get it in gear.

I weighed myself this morning. I have lost the TOM weight and the WDW weight. Back to what I was the week prior. I hope this coming up week I can manage to lose something. I'm going to try. :thumbsup2
