OK, so-o Betsy - what's up with the online registration? Are we within the recommended time frame to do it now? I was just thinking about it 'cuz we got DS's new passport the other day and I was going to lock it and his birth certificate up in the safe and then I thought "oh then you'll just need it out again to register...)

I sorta know that if this place offers me a job if it pays anywhere close to what I was making before then I'll have to take it, like it or not - I am not in a position to be TOO picky here. But I wanted to like it and be happy about it and feel like I could stop looking. It's really close but IF the pay & benefits suck then I won't want to stick with it for long. I have 20 years until I can retire. I don't want to keep job hopping! I just want to find a place to STAY!

Looks like the concert was a lot of fun.

Still trippin on my meds here for my back...cannot concentrate for crud. It's been over 100 degrees three days in a row, and they are calling for over 100 again tomorrow here. It's HOT, HOT, HOT!!! Preparing me for the cruise in the summer they are!

Speaking of the cruise, is it time to set sail yet? I'm getting a might bit anxious ya know.

Ours is an old, kinda used up Sequoia. Destined to be a trade-in within a matter of months, me thinks...

Your Ford Explorer, on the other hand, more or less takes up space in your driveway. N'est pa?

(If I had your Beemer, I wouldn't drive the Ford either!)

Now... if you wanna talk about trading it for the black Escalade, there may be enough wiggle room for a deal.

Cousin Gertrude - big fan of the big purse thing! Gots a couple big ones myself.

Beano - next door neighbor just got a brand new Sequoia about 3 or 4 weeks ago...that sucker is HOOOGE! It does everything 'cept wipe her butt. She traded in a Tahoe that she had complained about every day that she had it. Seems to be loving the new Sequoia tho 'cept she's afraid to try to pull it into the garage.

Made this cherry salsa stuff today (Martha Stewart recipe I saw on the TODAY show). Yummy, but took a long time to make. She put it over grilled Tilapia - which I bought but then froze so I put it on grilled chicken instead. thumbsup2

Having LATE dinners this week 'cuz swim practice is from 7 - 8:00 thru Thurs.

3. Yes, we were at AKV for our 1st Anniversary trip. Just relaxed at Blizzard Beach by doing Summit Plummet, a few tube rides, the crazy mat slide that hurt me, and the lazy river. We took some time on Sunday to do Toy Story Midway Mania. We about half as good as the best scores. Seems we needin some practice but the line was kinder long.

4. Wee littlun seems to be enamoured with colors like the rest of us....Oooooh! Look at the pretty colors.....

2. Oreo has new cookies out and they are called "fudgees" that's where it started....and then kinda took on new meanings!

No Summit Plummet for ME! I leave that one for DS and DH while I wait at the bottom with the camera! I WILL do the slide right next to it but that's the limit of my thrill level. And that thing with the mats ! That thing is wicked on the back! I thought I broke my back a few years ago - won't do that one again!

How IS the new Toy Story ride? Is it different enough from Buzz Lightyear Spin to feel like it's a new and different ride? I was wondering how similar they might be?!

Have DS's 5th Grade Promotion ceremoney today at 1:30. (School is out on Thurs.) Gonna be another HOT one!
