DIS/Dreams Unlimited China Adventure Oct 14th - 25th 2017 SOLD OUT!!!

Thanks Kevin and John, these will come in handy for carrying our liquid refreshments. We can claim it's water right?

With Steven added the clean sweep crew is up to 54.5%.

To do list:

Money, VPN, look up some restaurant reviews... But yeah, should be ready.
Did anyone figure out whether masks were recommend this time of year?

1 more week and Kate and I get to squeeze one more quick WDW F&W trip in before China.

I pick up my currency tomorrow. I have even started to prepack because of my work schedule before I leave. Of course the trip to WDW for Epcot's 35th is not helping.

Chandra

Local currency arrived yesterday. Travel docs printed, copies uploaded to Dropbox and iCloud. Registered our trip with US Dept of State (step.state.gov).

Kevin, I don't know if masks will be needed but we're packing them just in case.

Hi
Our box has just arrived from Dreams, we were not expecting to get one so it was a lovely surprise.
Thanks Kevin & John

Chuck picked up the travel currency yesterday.... I think that the Hong Kong dollars are my favorite, so colorful.
Also I like thinking in terms of thousands for the Yen, it makes me feel rich.

Chris

I still have to do money and VPN. And, of all things, I broke my backup pair of glasses (lost the arm), and my prescription is over a year old, so I have to do something about that. I don't like to travel with only one pair of glasses.

OK, I know that tipping is not a city in China. Just wondering if we know what currency our guides will prefer when we tip them at the end of the trip. I'm guessing one of them lives there and would prefer Yuan. The other one is probably US based, but might be staying in China for a while longer so Yuan again? or Dollars?

Unless I hear otherwise, I’ll probably tip our Chinese guide, Daisy, in Yuan & Christian in Dollars.
