We are in the grandstand section the building closest to the pool and carriage house. I am very happy wih our room location.

I see the taping is going to start at 2:00 (but we should be there 30 minutes early). Val & I have reservations at YSH for 6:10. Surely the taping won't go 4 hours - will it?

I recall they said something like 1½-2 hours or so. They booked the room until 6, but the taping shouldn't be that long. Post show mingling will be as long as you see fit.

A new thread - wasn't expecting that - I figured they would just let us run the other one up.


Here is my latest dilemma - Airtran changed my flight again, now I am getting in at 12:15 - should I change to the 7:00am flight and get in around 9:30?

If I do, I may need to do the hotel thing by the airport which would cost more money.

What to do?

I would stick with the later flight and save the money to spend.

It typically takes 4 hours to do both shows but since we are only doing 1 you should be OK.

Do you mean you need to stay in a hotel the night before so you are closer to the airport? We are 30 minutes from the airport, and we often times stay in a hotel, because we always fly out at 5:30 in the morning. We find a hotel that offers a free parking and free shuttle service. That way we figure we haven't spent much more because we don't have to pay to park at the airport.

I've been a fan since the 70s. Can't jump ship just because they suck. Sundays are not fun the last few years. Al Davis needs to stroke out so we can rebuild.

Yes - I am a little over an hour away from the airport.

I have found that for a week long trip, it pays for itself to stay at one of the hotels and use the shuttle versus the parking. If I do this now, I will pay more for the room so in the end it will cost me about $40 more.

Agree, went through a rough couple years with the Fins. I feel your pain. At least we are decent this year and have a QB that has some great upside. I hope the Tuna stays around Miami for a few years.

TO me it would depend on where you will get a better night's rest. It doesn't cost an excessive amount to stay overnight, so if you can sleep a little later and get to WDW sooner, I'd say go for it. If you will get worse/less sleep..that's a tougher call.

But then again I forget I'm talking to the queen of being up at 4am....

The sad part is 4 is typical but I have also mastered waking up at 3am.

I think I am stressing out over spending money period. I still don't feel like I have a handle on the finances like I would like to.
