Here is my entry:

I found this photo a week or so ago on the desktop and though it would be fun to use for this challenge. I changed the color of the background in the photo to make Mickey stand out more, plus it was really ugly! ;) Thanks for the fun challenge! :)

Thank you for hosting! Here is mine for the week:

Stop making such awesome LOs everyone, I'm SO behind in responding. I won't be able to catch up. ;) It's so bad, my mind is drawing a blank on what to scrap this week. I hope I come up with something soon!

I think I just can't stop thinking about my upcoming trip next week. EEEEE!! :D

Still thinking about mine. I'm hoping to get to it today. I have a few ideas rolling around in my head. Great layouts everyone!!!! Glad I don't have to choose a winner this week.

Wow, I'm gone for a day and I come back to all of these great new entries. They're awesome!

MakingScrapbooks - So, there are others who make a stop at Downtown Disney as they're leaving! We've often done that on the way to the airport. Such a neat thing to scrap! I definitely see circles in your LO. Besides on the paper, there's a circle in the center of the flower and circle ears. So, no problem!! I love the angled frame and the color scheme. Beautiful LO!!

Terri - I have one of those overlays and haven't used it yet. Your LO makes me want to give it a try! I love how you've focused on the pictures in your LO. Chef Mickey pictures always deserve center stage. I, too, would love to see the facing page so I hope you get it done to show us. Great job!

BSquare - Ah, what can I say...my favorite Pooh!! Love the colors and love how you've angled the alpha. Great job of getting so many pictures on the LO. Don't worry, I'll take the solid paper under the thread. Love those buttons! Great LO!

Susan - I ALWAYS love your 2-page layouts and this one is no exception! This kit is great with your pictures and I love the shoestring wrap. Now, did you put the dotted alpha on dotted paper on purpose? Nice touch! I saw this parade the last time we were there. It was so neat to see coming down the street when you're not expecting it. Beautiful layout.

Ah, Melissa, only you could find a Mickey dressed as a Red Wing! Such a neat thing for a LO. The hanging Mickey with the date stamp is so creative. Love it! Great job on journaling and I think your title is great! Wonderful job!

BriarRose - I haven't seen too many layouts about Toy Story Mania so this is so neat and you got some great pictures, too! The alpha in the circles is too cute. Great job with that! Love how you did the text path around the picture edges. I never think to do that so I'll have to remember that it's a great way to journal. Cute, cute, cute LO!

Such an awesome job so far, ladies! It's going to be really tough to choose a winner!!

On a side note (a little OT), this weekend is my anniversary and our kids gave us dinner at Victoria and Albert's for our next trip in January. Can hardly wait!!!!!

Hi, everyone! I hope you won't mind if I jump in. I just took the plunge into digital scrapbooking in the last couple of weeks. I've been pretty overwhelmed with the possibilities and still have ALOT to learn. These challenges will help me to focus on certain styles and techniques, so that I don't get so overwhelmed!

One lesson I learned with this layout....I wanted to go back in and change the font color of the green word "Mickey", but I discovered that I had only saved the image as a jpeg and not a psd file, so I couldn't go back and change it. So it looks a bit "off" with the green in the title, but I'm not going to try to go back and recreate the whole page, so it will have to stay. From now on...I will save as a psd and jpeg! Lesson learned.

I'd like to say "Thanks" to whomever is responsible for these challenges and I look forward to getting to know you all and learn from you. Here is my layout:

Welcome, Carolinagirl! You'll find that everyone here is very friendly and very, very helpful and you'll get lots of great ideas from their awesome layouts. You'll also find that you'll soon be addicted. I've only been doing this for a few months and it doesn't take very long before you want to be digi-scrapping every spare minute of the day.

Your layout is great! I especially like your stapled ribbons and the cute stamp. What neat pictures to scrap! Love those Mickey ears. My kids, who are grown, have quite the collections of ears. Keep up the good work and hope to see you back for the next challenge. Any other layouts that you make, be sure to post them in the "sticky" thread for digital scrappers to post their pages. Again, welcome, and HAVE FUN!

Christy - that kit is fantastic for that ride! How fun is that. Now you're going to make me go out an purchase yet another kit. sigh ;)

Welcome, Maitlynn - looking forward to seeing your layout!

Britt - Beautiful LO, as usual! I love the water droplets and the colors really showcase your photos. You always have such neat family pics! Ha, ha, Britt, we recolor your designs so it's only fair that you get to recolor ours!!

DisneyCruiser - What a neat template for your pictures. I love all the elements in the border at the top and that hanging flower on the journaling is too cute! You always find such creative ways to use the elements. Love this kit, too! That looks like such a neat place - hope to see it someday. Great job!

Great layouts this week, everyone!!!!!

Welcome to all the newbies that are joining in the challenges! The DISboard challenges are what got me into digi scrapping, they are so much fun! Everyone here is so welcoming and helpful.

Oh, some more wonderful entries!

18Magic - Love the colors in this kit! What a neat background using the papermask and the angled alpha is really cute. And, that hidden Mickey made out of buttons is great!! Thanks for a great layout!

Kohla21 - Such a great use of the multi colors in the alpha! I love how your ribbon ties your pictures together. Those polka dot picture corners really tie in with the alpha. Very cute! Of course, your pictures are great, especially Baloo wearing your ears!!!! Great job!

Janis - Hope you had a wonderful time on your cruise! I'm jealous! I love your Mickey made out of brads. Too cute! The water's edge in your background flows right into the edge on your picture. Very neat! Hope we see some more of your cruise pictures soon. Beautiful layout!

Kswm30b - I love the Canada pavilion and it's SO neat at night! It looks like the lights are just coming on in your pictures. How creative to turn the alpha into a sticker! There are so many things to do to make that alpha look different. I like the contrast of the bright red edge to your page with the neat stitching to attach it to the rest of your page. Wonderful job!
