DIS Digi-Scrappers Challenge #64 (7-01-09 to 7-07-09)

Hello to all! This is my first time hosting so please bear with me.

This Week's challenge is all about Showing your Character. However this works for you, but it needs to be character based. I would love to see pictures of your favorite character!

You need to have some unique shapes, not just circles or squares.

You need to have at least 1 of these colors- Yellow, Red, Orange, Green or Blue- in Honor of the Fab Five.

And last, you need a quote from or about your character.

Here is mine:

favorite character - check, well, but it's me in there, not her

You need to have at least 1 of these colors- Green, Yellow

And last, you need a quote from or about your character - well, ya, she did say it to me! LOL

Here's mine. The quote is from Mulan's father and could apply to both Mulan and my daughter who is in the photo.

My quote is a bit of a twist. It's the Mickey Mouse club lyrics on the yellow paper. I think that counts, right?!! haha

Here are two of our favorite characters, especially Woody. Who doesn't love Woody? These pictures was from the new character spot across from Toy Story Mania. Yes, my daughter is a complete nut!

Now that I see them on the upload, I need to work on getting the stitches and cord to line up. I'll work on that later this weekend.

The stars are pictures of the characters cut into star shapes. I hope this satifies the requirement of using a different shape.

I decided to scrap about DD's favorite character, at least it was her favorite last summer. (Now she's all about the princesses.) She totally fell in love with Mee Mou when we were on our cruise last summer. I lost count of the number of times she tried to jump the line to get to her. The funny thing about that is that she only started walking literally 2 days before we boarded the ship. But by the end of the 2 week journey she not only had her sea legs, she was practically running.

I'm not sure I'm happy with the way this turned out, but I've been agonizing over it for way too long so I'm calling it done.

I am a day late, but better late than never! We've had a super busy weekend around here with my brother in laws family flying in, the 4th of July Holiday and spending time with the extended family! I had started my page, but never got back to finishing it in time! So here is it!



He might not be my absolute favorite character (that would be Bambi...as far as I know, he's no where to be found around the parks). But he was my favorite Character to Meet! My unusual shape would be the tag.
