Well girls just back from my first weigh - in and I lost 5 1/2lbs, now to stick with it this week :teeth:

my induction went well....i think!! I had a go on their state of the art machines and they have come up with a personal plan for me, this involves a few of the machines-all i can remember is the cross trainer:rolleyes: but all in all i should be at the gym for 69 minutes each session :eek: please tell me Flo that i will enjoy it!!
I have been to a gym before but didnt do very well because i had sciatica etc,but this is a different gym and is so up to date i was well impressed!

I finally joined a gym last year and to my amazement found I enjoy going!! :rotfl:

I weighed myself today and have put on 4lb since before Christmas so am quite pleased with that. Thought it was going to be a lot more. Got to get rid of it now.....and the rest ;)

Just one little tip for you all that I found on the internet at the weekend - 1 hours ironing burns 84 calories whereas energetic bedroom activity (ahem!) burns 32 calories an hour. So get your ironing boards out everyone :thumbsup2

Dh would just tell me to spend twice as long in the bedroom!!! ;)

My lunch yesterday was fab Kaylee :thumbsup2 No excuses today though for not being good! Well done on such a fantastic weigh in :yay:
 
I am rejoining slimming world on Thursday. I am currently the heaviest I have ever been so really need to work hard. I can't afford and would hate the gym so I plan to start swimming again at least twice a week and to do some exercise at home before work.

Wish me luck!
 
went to slimming world for the official weight in last night. put 2lb of the three i'd lost. not too bad though. target 12st.
update next week:)

got on the dreaded scales after xmas and I'd put on 3 stone.. :eek: ....then I realize that DD has jumped on behind me!!!! phew. not as bad as I had initially thought..need to lose 2st before Sept. and I need ALL the help I can get...I will be doing WW as it seems to work for me...already lost 2st since DD ( ok so it took 4 years! who's counting!):yay:
 
Just got back from WW lost 4.5 lb this week, quite pleased as it is a step in the right direction, but also daunted as i have a hell of a long way to go:eek: !!! I am following the points plan and did not find it too hard this week, just alot of planning and weighing!

I don't get weighed until Thursdays but it's great to hear about all the excellent weight losses going on.

After putting on over Christmas I'm hoping to lose this week. I've got 10lbs to go............
 
Well i haven't been to this weeks class as i've got a heavy cold i expect i've put some on but will post next week.

I had my first weigh in this morning and I am very happy to report that I have lost 8lbs! :teeth:
