Smiley, I hope the sleeping pills work for you.
I understand exactly what you are saying...just lying there, unable to turn off the brain for hours! I have ambien that I take once in awhile, and it really does help. My DH just doesn't get it, no matter how much I try to explain it - he is one of the people that fall asleep instantly.
Peg, good to hear that things are getting easier. How nice that you were able to get out to DTD - that was a long way to walk! I bet it was amazing to be out and about.
Laurie, hope your cousin gets good results.....it's so frustrating being in the hurry up and wait mode - why don't doctors get that???
Carrie, welcome! Wonderful news that you won't need chemo! I guess I'll introduce myself........diagnosed in '06 at age 44 (mastectomy, chemo, radiation, tamoxifen) diagnosed with mets in '11 (chemo) and am currently on arimidex. Never had reconstruction, so can't be of help with that, but anything else feel free to ask.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. GAGWTA!!

but started Tamoxifen last week. I'm 46. The oncologist says she'd like to see me on it for 10 years.
HS is winding down, but two other teams starting in a week or two. Poor DS had to have his appendix out last week, but just got the ok to play again - raring to go.
here today, so I am gonna enjoy it as its going to rain the next few days I think, sigh. I am starting to think we live in a rain forest.
think that one may win now.

. He forgot to tell me this of course. apparently they have the wrong dates. I looked at my confirmation and it has the correct dates. Hmm. Never had a problem with them before.
