We are in a studio at ALV for one night then 5 nights at the Dolphin.

Should we shoot for a quick meet up with Laura in the morning Saturday. What time are you Free on Saturday?

Friday we will be relocating to Dolphin, grabbinga car rental, and walking around the countries no doubt.

Friday night is another possibilitity.

So your mom is not coming?

No mom isnt going with me for this one. We go with my sister and niece on the following weekend for my sister's birthday. Any time Saturday morning and I would be good for meeting up with Laura. We can talk as it gets closer. I am going to check my phone book for your number. I think I saved it there before my phone got fried... if not I will ask you again for it.

:tinker:~~~***GAGWTA sistas***~~~:tinker:

Maryann- You're allowed to have those days sista, it's okay, it's being released. Don't feel bad about liking the other PT better, just let them know who you prefer. I actually need 3 surgeries total, barring any revisions. I'm hoping to be finished by the end of the year. One day at a time...

Laurie & Sha- I'm only going to be in Disney on Mon. 9/28 for hubby's birthday. Sorry I can't meet up with both of you on Sat. Laurie I'll send you my cell number again.

I would love to talk Disney plans! I am so mentally there, and at the beach lately. It keeps me sane through all this medical insanity!

Laurie I'm glad to see you are dining at CA Grill again! Have some sushi for me! This is our cheap trip, so we'll be having our favorite counter service. The kids really wanted to go to NOJ when they saw the line up, but we already planned to take daddy to FL for his birthday and I was not excited about spending $$$ for trips two weeks apart. They volunteered to pay for their own concert and airline tickets from their savings! Love the Dolphin! I've stayed at the BWV before. I do have a preferred studio booked, but I made no requests. The NOJ concert is held at the DHS now, and I wanted to be close. We fly in Sat. morning. I will have a car so we'll tool around that day, doing whatever. I read that this year they are letting people in the park at 4:00 instead of 7:00. If that's the case I will go in and do some rides early. Sadly no Rock n Rollercoaster for me...:sad2: I love that ride, it makes me laugh the entire time. Don't think my guts can handle it yet. I am a chocolate girl, but I have to say that the Napolean at the Boulangie Patisserie is my hands down favorite!
:grouphug:

Laura that is okay... would've been nice.

I was hoping to sleep in this morning but had a bad dream... I even got up to make sure mom was still breathing because of my dream. I think I knew before I woke it wasn't real, because my dad was in it and he has been dead for a few years... and it wasn't our house. But woke up crying when I realized I needed to call Lee and my Aunt.

Whoops I was getting Saturday confused with the 28th!
Brain dead here!!!

Your daughters are awesome paying for their tickets and flights for Night of Joy.

A great experience for them both to enjoy together. Has your younger DD attended NOJ previously?

I am thrilled to be able to see both of you even if just for a pastry and hug.

Laura, have you had the Napoleon with the strawberries added within the layers? They used to make them that way when Louisiana strawberries were available at one of my favorite bakeries to our close in the N.O. suburbs (it was actually one street away from our house)

Eating those is a true religious experience. The owner was this adorable little French guy, made the best authentic king cakes as well during the Mardi Gras season.

You never really truly appreciate what you have until it is in the past tense.

Well I am having healthy eggs for breakfast this morning unless DH cooked them in butter.

My birthday party is at my sister's house in Grammercy Sunday. We are going to get to see the markings in her back yard for the new pool. She and her DH are getting the kind that has the strong current in it (Swimex) for her to have very convenient physical therapy. Exercise for her is difficult unless she is in the water due to her physical disabilities.

I am buying her a new blender and a couple bottles of rum for Christmas.

Maybe some Disney beach towels? They should be on sale this time of year?

Dreams about deceased relatives can be disquieting. I hope you go on to have a nice day.

Let us know how Miss Lee is doing when you talk to your aunt.

DH's alarm went off at 5:30 am, but he had gotten up at 5 am and was in the living room.

So I sure got an early start on the day.

GAGWTA! This post it all about me because even though I read, a phone call came before I posted. Now I can't remember what I wanted to say. LOL!

DH is still suffering with the infected tooth. He finally called yesterday to tell them that he was getting worse, not better. They called in two antibiotics this time. Today he's still not better, but no worse. That's something. I'm glad he has the 3 day weekend to recover. He missed 3 days of work already with this.

DD is coming home in a bit for the weekend. I think she's settling in a bit more. It's a hard adjustment to make.

I've got lots I need to get done, but finding it hard to do. I was planning to work on picking up/cleaning our bedroom, but DH is in there. Guess I should change my game plan, but I'm just not motivated.

I'm planning to watch the OU game opener tonight on tv. Glad we didn't plan to go to Texas for the game since DH is in bed.

I have a cup of tea steeping... Mad Hatter blend from WDW... in my Thumper mug. :surfweb: need to add honey to it though

I am drinking Celestial Seasonings true blueberry. I have it every day. I bring a big ole blue insulated mug with me to work every day. I do coffee first, but I switch to my herb tea for the rest of the day.

If I don't have it I am lost. I never ever run out.

I drink it cold, with equal parts of ice. but I use three teabags. Hey I just realized I am a bit in a rut. What is with that?

Switch it up a little. This is my first time having the Mad Hatter tea at home. I have been either using some earl grey (gray) or another tea that I can enjoy at WDW, Nobo Whole Fruit.

I will recommend try to have tea at the GF Garden View Tearoom. It really is nice! That is where I fell in love with having tea.... and good too, before going to England. You dont need to dress up either.

My 'puter is slow as molasses.

I wonder who else is going to attend the tea party?

Merry, I was not motivated this morning either at first, but then I started ironing. I did ok until I tried the steam blast thin, it squirted some brown water and made spots.

I am hot natured so I like to wear light weight woven button down sirts. Some are ok out of the drier if I use fabric softener and take them out after 5-10 minutes. I have a lot that need ironing though which I do once in a blue moon.

The kind of fabric I like is almost the weight of a handerchief.

Getting old sucks.

I also did laundry and then gave up on inside stuff and mowed the lawn. I love my riding lawnmower. I totally veg out when I am mowing. I am no longer doing the self propelled though. We have to use that one on edges, the dogs'yard, and the ditch. Just too hard on my arms and my tummy.

DD21 just arrived. He brought some laundry that I started for him. He broke his eyeglasses so he is off to the mall to get a replacement.

So, my son is going to join us for my birthday party tomorrow and DD19 and her boyfriend Jonny is coming in too, but not till tomorrow since DD19 is working tonight.

Anyone else here?

Wait, you don't have to dress up for the GF tea room?

Do you think my DH would be uncomfortable, is it strictly a ladies thing?

I hate to iron! I have laundry going now too. I bought a little steamer so I can steam press a shirt or whatever when I need too. My shirts don't go in the dryer.. so hang them to dry.. but get my pants out asap so they are okay. Only one scrub shirt is always wrinkled.. my Tinkerbell one. Go figure!

Nobo Whole fruit sounds good. Is Nobo the brand? Never heard of it.

Is it only at WDW?

Do you drink it hot or cold?

I have never dressed up going in there. I have worn capris or shorts and seen many others the same way.

I have counted as many as 13 men in there on one trip, with their wives or GFs. They seemed very comfy.

Ironing is easier for me now since I have both DS21's and DD19's room to set up the ironing board and leave it up.

I am going to have to get a new iron though. I have a
Rowenta Professional but it still went bad.

I did break down and buy a new ironing board cover. I wonder if they have Mickey ones?

I think he would do it for me but it sure would help if they served Guinness in the can. I can get him to do almost anything if they have Guinness.;)

that is why I got the steamer. The ironing board is in mom's room.. covered up. :rotfl::rotfl:

That would be cool if they had a Mickey one!

LOL they have a gentleman's tea but it has brandy or port.. no Guinness.

MerryPoppins I hope your DH continues to feel better. That bites with it being a holiday weekend and no help.
