DIS boards VIEWS counter

Is there something wrong with the counter for the message VIEWS column?

Seems like a lot of them have zero views, even those that have responses.

to try and reduce the load on the servers the views and reply counts are updated NOT realtime. they get done every so often ( couple-three minutes I think) and less when board is busy.
