Like Julie, I must ride ToT several times during one trip! I rode five times a week ago. :rotfl:

When I was at WDW two years ago we did ToT three times, maybe it was four. Star Tours twice.
At Epcot, Mission Space three times!

Love it too!!
Slightly prefer the Disneyland Paris version (not even sure why, the fleeting glances at Sleeping Beauty's Castle as the 'doors' open before you drop) but love both :)

:goodvibes

ToT is one of the best themed rides at Walt Disney World in my opinion. There is so much going on inside that attraction. Rushing through the hotel and boiler room is a crime because of all the detail you will miss.

I love the tower of terror, I think its a fantastic ride, but i am going to have to admited I have 5 faviourete attractions which are at Walt Disney world:

1. Tower of Terror
2. Splash Mountain
3. Big Thunder Mountain
4. Buzz Lightyear Space Attack
5. Space mountain

there are many more :)

I love ToT too! I don't know how I'm going to pull it off this time though. I think my son would ride it just to say he did, but my daughter probably won't. I might have to live vicariously through son and taken the chicken exit with my girl.

We LOVE the Tower of Terror. We have to ride it multiple times. I thought that thread was funny though because there are so many rides that we have to ride multiple times that I would end up listing almost everything!

But ToT is in my top 3 favorite rides :goodvibes

Agree - the queue and the themeing of the hotel courtyard and lobby, the pre show is good and not hokey, the boiler room queue - then the ride. It's a great attraction.

I like it better in the day - at night whent he doors open it's not as scary as seeing everything in the day, especially if you're in the front row.

Rode it 6 times in 2 days earlier in July - love it.

I'm excited to ride the DLR version next week. I've heard there are some differences. :)

Nikki, there are indeed differences. I will not spill the beans, you will find out soon enough.

Must do rides to do while in WDW

ToT
Haunted Mansion
Space Mountain
Splash Mtn
Pirates

I'm mildly surprised. I thought DW was the only one who liked ToT but would not ride RnR. I guess I can't tease her about that anymore.

Oh well, I can always make comments about her hair. :rolleyes1

That's me too! I absolutely *HATE* RnR! It hurts my ears and neck for some reason.

Oh, ToT is my absolute FAVORITE!!! Agree with everyone else about the theming...I am a fan of the original series, and the attention to detail and little touches throughout the attraction are just incredible. I also just love that freefall feeling...I'm not much for big drops on rollercoasters, and going upside down makes me sick...but I would happily drop 13 stories all day long!

One of my favorite WDW memories is from last summer -- I was on a miserable work trip to Florida in late August, and my reward for enduring such torture was a solo trip to the World over Labor Day weekend. Some people like to look at the castle from their hotel room, but I couldn't be happier that my room at the Dolphin had a perfect Tower view.

On my last day I got to HS before rope drop for the sole purpose of riding ToT as many times as I could. Since TSM was still drawing the crowds, ToT was practically a walk on. And on my second ride, I had an elevator all to myself! Definitely a great experience for Tower lovers :) I do think part of the fun of that ride is the reaction of other riders (yeah, I'm looking at you big tough guys who scream like little girls), so it was a bit weird to be the only one screaming, but definitely an unforgetable experience. I am kicking myself that I didn't buy the photo afterwards...but I was too focused on getting back in line!

We also love ToT, and have done it multiple times, getting right back in line.
My only exception is that I would rather wait a while if I've just had a big meal. I tried RnR, only once - that was enough !

ToT is also at the top my list! Unfortunately, like Kevin, I feel miserable for some time after riding. But, unlike Kevin, I don't care!!! There are several rides that make feel that way, so, I just go and enjoy the moment knowing I have to wait awhile before I ride another thrill ride!

Should I confess I have NEVER rode it? I am terrified in elevators anyways so I just don't want to do it.

Although DS7 wants to ride it with me because it is Twilight TOT :lmao: and I like Twilight he thinks it is about Twilight.

Hahahaha Kim. That IS funny! ;)

I love the feeling you get on ToT. The best part of the ride is when you are dropping and lifted off of the seat. I also love talking to newbies about it as we go in. That's really fun.

Has anyone else done ToT on April Fool's Day before? THAT was a hoot! :thumbsup2
