Dis Boards Rule - I am so thankful for all of you!

It has only been 2 months since returning from our last trip to Disneyland and my wonderful family is aching to go back.

Last August we upgraded our 8 day park hoppers to AP (first time AP holders) and well, none of us can stay away any longer!

DH just confirmed that we can go back to the Land, December 11 - 16. My DD16 and DS12 say they want to go to Disneyland every day. We live outside of Seattle, Washington so this is NOT possible.

Booked our flights on JetBlue (never flown them before but they are having great deals). I had planned on going back to the Fairfield Inn because we enjoyed our stay so much. I looked at rates yesterday and they were $82 a night...great deal. Today they are $149! UGH! That won't work with my budget I proposed to DH.

I didn't even blink at this news.....I called HoJo! My customer agent was Jenniifer and she hooked me up. I got the entertainment rate for 3 nights and AP rate for the other 2. She was fabulous. I think I get it now....why all of you love HoJo. They are great.

I know my DS12 will love the Pirates Cove play area...probably DD16 too!

I don't have an entertainment card, but logged onto Ebay and found a card with free Shipping for $5.29.

Needless to say, all of these things would have not happened witout my months of reading this board every day and learning all your terrific tips, tricks and suggestions.

You all are so great, I appreciate every one of you!

Sorry OP, I have a quick question. So, when you fly into LGB how do you get to the parks? I can get some pretty decent prices on flights on Jet Blue for our Jan. trip but we usually drive so I don't know what happens after you get to the airport.....LOL

PixieWings, check Super Shuttle or another shuttle service... or take a taxi for $40 flat rate.

We are so excited to go to Disneyland during Christamas. We went once during the holidays about 9 years ago and just went for a day. I remember it being so beautiful I almost cried! (I'm such a sap!)

We love LGB! It is so easy to get in and out of. My husband likes to rent a car, so we don't do the shuttle or taxi thing. I can usually get a car for around $100, so we pay just a bit more than you would for a taxi. But, we usually go to the grocery store and the Disney Outlet in Fullerton.
