I'm hoping someone can help me.... is there a place online that I can find & print directions from one WDW resort and another? We will be driving from Saratoga Springs to other resorts (Contemporary, Poly, AKL) for dinner reservations and are worried that we'll get lost getting around.

(We are taking the bus transporation to/from the Parks)

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Unfortunately, specific information like that is is very sparse, and is impossible to find on Disney's own website, which I gripe about all the time.

If driving, your best bet is to just get the addresses of the resorts you want to visit, enter them in Google maps and let it calculate directions for you.

If you wish to use Disney transportation to get from resort to resort, that can be done, but you'll need to do a little research (the transportation board on here is the best place, IMO) to avoid wasting time in some rather circuitous routing at times.

We ALWAYS ALWAYS get lost. Not so much in the day time - but night time in inevitable.

We've ended up everywhere from the parking lot of the employees credit union to the the power plant of MK :lmao: :lmao:

Now we either take a cab, or choose our restuarants according to their easy transport.

They will have detailed maps showing all roads available at the resort front desk. In addition, the signage on property is pretty good to help you get from one resort to another.

For those who find it so very very difficult to do a simple web seach for "Walt Disney World Map"....

:rolleyes1

That one looks fairly outdated since there are no details around AKL and it still shows the security booth on Vista Blvd near FW that was gone by Dec 2005. While it's a little harder to use I have found the map in the following link to really be good and it even shows one ways like in parking lots, etc. and has more than just the public WDW areas/streets.

A combination of the two might be better with the first as an overall view and the second a more detailed view. :goodvibes

We drive more than most probably even with staying on property and like has already been mentioned the direction signs are pretty good IMO.

for the Polyn and CR -

turn left out of SSR (disney vacation way), at the traffic light turn right (Bonnet Creek Parkway), at the traffic light (also where this roads dead ends) turn left, (Vista Boulevard) this roads connects to World Drive - stay on it for the CR, turn left on seven seas drive for the Polyn.

--------------------------------

AKL - turn left out of SSR (disney vacation way), at the traffic light turn LEFT (bonnet creek parkway), at the second traffic light turn right, Buena Vista Drive - after you pass the CRB turn left - Victory Way, then turn right - Osecola Parkway - get in the left lane, once you are close to the AK, be sure to move to the far left lane - it takes you directly to AKL.

I like the map on the back of your resort map the best.

Thank you all....I tried googling wdw maps, directions, just about everything and wasn't able to find what I was looking for....I haven't been to WDW since 99 and I KNOW everything has changed....thanks for all of your help.

I was hoping you would post that link(so I wouldn't have to find it again).
That is a very good map!

I'd recommend that you skip the maps, and just follow the signs. The signage is very, very good at WDW. Maps can be confusing, because it's not like your typical town or city where there are street signs on every corner.

I've found that if I try to use a map, I inevitably get lost. If I follow the signs, I do just fine.

I respectfully disagree about the signage. The signs are only good if you know what theme park your resort is classified under.

The signs start out by saying "Magic Kingdom Resorts Ahead" and unless you know which resorts fall under that category - you're out of luck

While you may know your resort category, you may not always know the category of a resort you are dining at, or visiting.

I say, take a cab. :goodvibes

They gave us a great map when we checked into SSR in June. We drove to parks every morning, and used it extensively. Very detailed. Never got lost.
