That puts us both in the same boat.
I'm just wondering how far Sanford is from WSW, rental cars, etc.

Are you flying into Sanford? What is WSW? Was it suppose to be WDW, with slip of the finger....:confused3

Yes - sorry. Was s'posed to be WDW.

Sanford is the airport in the Orlando that Direct Air flies into.

Just found out from another post that Sanford is about 50 miles SW of Disney. That means no ME, having to rent a car, and finding a place to stay for the extra day(s). I could save about $600 by flying Direct Air, but due to these factors, it probably doesn't make sense....

Be careful. The website is wrong for Orlando. It is for Lakeland's Linder Field, not Sanford. Remember too that these are public charter flights, not everyday flights.

I think you mean Sanford is 50 miles Northwest of Disney. Approximately 45 minute drive.
