How do you rent points for a disney cruise on this board. I have rented in the past for land stays but not a cruise. I cannot find how many points you need for a cruise.

Unless you are able to find a member willing to rent points for much less than usual, you will find that you can reserve a Disney cruise directly thru Disney (you can have Dreams Unlimited give you a quote) for a lot less than a DVC member can make the same reservation. The most economical use of DVC points is at DVC resorts. In addition, there is a non-refundable $75 charge to even make the cruise reservation in addition to the points needed.

If you have a date in mind, post the cruise date, room Category, number of passengers (and their ages) on the DVC Board to have someone check the number of points required. Be sure to also know what the same cruise would cost with a cash reservation.
