We have the late seating on the 4/24 Wonder, and I'm planning on feeding dds, ages 3 and 6, very early and taking them to the early show. They may fall asleep shortly thereafter, so I'm not sure we'll ever really show up in the dining room. Is it possible to visit our dining room and get our dinner to go (compared to the limited room service menu?). Maybe then we could dine on the verandah while the kids sleep. tia.

I don't know the answer for sure, I feel like it is probably no as I don't think the staffing in the dining rooms or kitchen allow for packing up meals to go while they are serving the tables. Maybe this would be an option at BBB since staffing there is based on just who shows up? I think this would be a great option for those with little kids to be able to have a good late meal after the kids are asleep. My kids aren't that young (4 and 7) but I imagine if that was an option, we would choose to get the kids to bed at a decent time once or twice during our 7 night!

BBB on the Wonder does not serve dinner. Dining rooms, room service, Pluto/Pinnochios

Hmmm sorry about that! All my research has been for the Magic and I forget what the small differences are. I wonder if that would be possible to go to Topsiders and grab a "to go" meal for dinner?

Depending on what you want room service has chicken fingers, hamburgers, etc.-- I don't think they can do that since it is not your seating, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

On the Lobster Night Gala on the Magic, DS wasn't well and fell asleep before our late dining time, so I stayed behind and send DW to dinner to enjoy lobster, figured I was SOL but thats part of having children, and that that I would hit Pluto's when DW returned. She returned with a tray that our servers had packed and sent her with, a lobster tail, a filet, some other yummy items. So I don't know about doing it every night, but for at least one dinner, hey, why not ask.

If you'd fair better with the early seating, nothing to lose in trying to swap by getting there early on embarkation day, though it might be a long shot but you never know.

My mother always said there are two ways to travel: First Class, or With Children.

I imagine you would be able to do this, although maybe not the full meal since they serve it in "waves" (appetizers, main course, dessert). But I am sure they will try to accommodate you. We have often taken our desserts to go.

Would you consider bringing a baby monitor with you to dinner? You could turn down the volume on the ones with the bars that show sound and then stay for at least part of the dinner? It may depend on the location of your cabin for signal quality but I know some posters have done this. Did this several times in hotels on land.
No flames please, I know not everyone would be comfortable with this, just a thought
