Dinner Suggestions for a 1st timer

Hi everyone! My DH and I are going to Southern CA 5/16 fo 6 nights. Doing 2 days at Disneyland and CA Adventure. I have the Blue Bayou booked for lunch on the 17th. I would like to hear some dinner suggestions - it can be Downtown Disney, the resorts, CA Adventure...whatever. But a Disney establishment. We eat pretty much anything - except I don't like Indian food. Napa Rose sounds appealing. We want a really nice, romantic place for dinner.

We're not just doing Disney on the trip - but while we are - I want to "eat" Disney. We're also going to visit Santa Monica, Third Street Promenade, rent some bikes, see the tar pits, Hungtingon Beach, etc etc.

I have always liked the food at House of Blues, and the ESPN Zone is usually pretty good. The sandwich place on Main Street is also good.

The best "Disney" meal I've ever had was at the Brennan's Jazz Kitchen restaurant in Downtown Disney. I had a pasta dish and it was FABULOUS! There was also live music and the atmosphere was really great.

If you want romantic, and you're willing to put out the money for it, then go with your Napa Rose idea. A terrific place. I also love Storyteller's Cafe, but it's not romantic. For a fun meal, ESPN Zone is terrific. Maybe you could stop for drinks at the Hearthstone Lounge at the Grand Californian. Only been in there once, but it was a very nice place where you could tuck yourselves into a corner for a romantic glass of wine.

I've been wanting to try Napa Rose too -- I've been in the restaurant as part of the GC tour, and it was beautiful!

Another suggestion is Hook's Pointe at DLH. We enjoyed our dinner there. I also like Naples in DD for the food, but I wouldn't really consider it a romantic atmosphere.
