We will be traveling as a group of 20-25 people age ranges from 4-82 (mostly teens/adults, only 2 children). We will not be going around the parks all together all the time. We would like one designated night to meet and have a special dinner. Where would you suggest? Open to Character or dinner shows also. Just would like to have an enjoyable night as a large family without creating chaos for the rest of the guests!

A Resort location.

Choose one well (over 6 months, if possible) in advance, though, and contact them directly (call the resort where they are located) to arrange it.

We've done large reservations at Ohana for dinner (loads of fun, although you will not be able to avoid chaos here - but it will have nothing to do with the size of your party... more standard operating procedure at this one), Cape May (we got seated in the side room here, but still a positive experience), and 1900 Park Fare (a breakfast, and a disaster).

Most locations can handle a 20-ish person group, but buffet/family-style places will be easier to manage, since nobody has to order anything except what they want to drink.

I think Hoop de Doo offers one of the best experiences for large groups. Food is served family style and they can accommodate large groups. We have done 3 generations together and everyone loves it.

I second Hoop de Doo. If you wanted to be in a park, I'd recommend Biergarten. You could get 3 of the large tables (they seat 8), have the buffet, dance, etc.

I was considering Hoop de Hoo and the luau, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something!
