Hello all, my family and I will be going in September and we want to do a dinner show. We've never been to a dinner show but I'm a little nervous with bringing my 2 year old, which ones are better kid friendly and most fun? Thanks

If you're looking for a dinner show I think Mickey's Backyard BBQ would be best. it doesn't get the best reviews but most dinner shows are not intended for 2yo's. You may wish to choose a regular character meal over a dinner show to save the credits or $.

Thank you :)

I wanted to second maybe choosing a character meal instead of a dinner show. DS is almost two, and right now character meals are the only table service meals we can do with him b/c it provides a distraction (we recently tried Boma with him for the first time, and the second half of the meal wasn't very enjoyable, as his limited patience was long gone).

So right now it's counter service, snack options or character meals - or Biergarten! It's a buffet, but there is a band, and kids can go down and dance in front of the stage. DS will still randomly say "Biergarten!" sometimes when I ask him what he wants for lunch.

My tot is rambunctious you guys are probably right! Thanks for the advice :)

My 2 year old had a wonderful time at Hoop Dee Doo Revue. She obviously didn't get the jokes, but loved the singing, dancing and overall rowdiness and atmosphere of it all.

I second hddr. We brought ds at ten months and right at two and he had a blast both times. It's pretty interactive for little kids and loud so if your tot acts up it will probably go unnoticed.

My daughter is older, but having done both HDDR and Spirit of Aloha, I would vote for Hoop Dee Doo. Personally, I prefer Aloha, but they are both great fun and DD could not stop laughing the entire time at HDDR. Especially when both me and her grandpa got picked to go on stage...the fear of that experience being repeated may prevent me from returning to HDDR in the future though!

We did Hoop Dee Doo with my2 year old nephew at the time we went and he had a BLAST!!!! Kid loved eating there.
