Dinner seating??

We had late seating and loved it. 3 boys 6,9 and 10. If they were hungry earlier, we got them something at Topsiders or they ate dinner at the clubs some nights. They did join us for formal night and a few other nights. We would feed them at Topsiders, see the early show, then, if they wanted to go to the clubs, there was usually an activity planned at our dinner time that they wanted to do.

My t/a said he spoke with DCL 3 times and they told him there is no "wait list" he has been good so far and I believe him. Thanks.

Yes, they do a wait list for the Wonder. I was on the Wonder in Oct 2008 and had late seating. I called my TA and he had Disney put me on the wait list for early seating (that was in May). Several months before my cruise, I checked online and I had been moved to Main dining. I called my TA and thanked him for helping me out.

My reservation page through Dreams Unlimited says "Dining: Second -Waitlisted for First." This is for a 3-night on the Wonder, so I would say that a wait list must exist somewhere.

We just returned from the 2008 NYE Cruise and was originally on the waitlist for the main dinner seating. It came through pretty quick. If your on the waitlist and it doesn't come through, try to change it as soon as you get on the ship. I knew several people that tried this and it worked out for them. We tried over and over again to get a ressie for Palo's Brunch and couldn't get them, so we tried as soon as we got on board and we got it, and the day and time we wanted too. So what ever happens, don't loose hope yet.

Well, I did email DCL direct and was informed that yes there is a waitlist for dinner seating. I forwarded this email to my T/A and within an hour was told by my T/A that I am now on waitlist. Makes you kinda think twice about people and their jobs. Anyway it's the people on this board who deserve thanks.

It is a shame that you can't always trust the people you are paying to help you plan your vacation. He is earning a commission so that is payment. If you have anymore questions please post here to double check so that you will be armed with the correct information when you talk to your TA. Next time I would go with a DCL cruise specialist though.

Glad to hear you are on the list. Good luck on getting main dining. Again, don't get impatient until full payment is due.

It's a shame you had to go over your TA's head, but great that you got on the waitlist! Best of luck!
