Dinner reservations packages

Hi Everyone,
just after some advice about booking character meals
Should I book a late breakfast or early lunch for Ariels Grotto, or late lunch?

Also as we have 4 adults and 2 children, is it better to just book the grab and go dinner for Fantasmic or dinner at the Blue Bayou / Terrace? I cant seem to get a booking at the Terrace - it keeps saying party size too large - do they only take small groups?

I made a Fantasmic dinner reservation for RBT for our group of 8. I had to call though, as the tables aren't big enough to seat us all together. We ended up with a 5 top and a 3 top.

We always prefer to book meals for non "prime time" for being on rides. So for us, that's a late lunch. Spending an hour in a restaurant during breakfast time when the lines are shortest just isn't something that makes a lot of sense for the way we do things. Also like to be indoors during the hotter part of the day, which is good for a late lunch. We like the lunch at Ariel's.

Normally they take parties of 6 at RBT, but maybe with the F! package they're not available? I'd try calling Disney dining.
