Dinner reservations on Halloween party nights

Hi all. If you are headed to the parks on a halloween party day and you do not have a ticket, what s the latest you can make a reservation for a restaurant. would it be 6 or is it more like 5 or 5:30??

On party nights that start at 6, 430 is the last reservation. Most of the restaurants are cleared out for dance parties or other entertainment/meet and greets during the party. For 7pm parties, 530p.

I made a Carnation Cafe reservation for 5:40 on a day the HP starts at 7 pm. Does that mean they won't honour it? We don't have a HP ticket.

I didn't check Carnation, only Cafe Orleans and Blue Bayou. They could be 10-15 mins later as they are closer to the gate. Also, they don't get made into a meet and greet.

We are going mid October and were able to get a 4:50pm reservation at Carnation Cafe for a 6pm party.

But...they seem to only be doing table service during MHP for the Blue Bayou dinner special, and places like Carnation that have in the past been open during the MHP are not this year. I only bring that up because it seems like many are trying to get that very last available dinner reservation in the park before the party starts, so if you see a time you like, snag it!

If you go to the dining reservation page for the restaurant you are interested in and choose a date, it will list the meal times on the front page. It looks like in most cases the last reservation is an hour before the start of the party. Blue Bayou is an exception because it is being used for the MHP (Parade) Dinner Package so it says "special ticketed event" for its dinner hours.
