Dinner Reservation Transportation

We are first timers, but I've been doing a lot of research.

So we're staying in March, and on our down day, I've reserved the Storybook Dining at Artist Point for dinner at 4pm for our family of 5.

Since it is a down day, we have options. My thinking is that we will take the boat from Riverside to Disney Springs around 1 pm or so and spend a little time shopping, etc., then catch the bus to Wilderness Lodge for our dinner reservations.

Does this sound like the best option? What time should we head to the bus to make our reservations?

Also, after dinner, we thought we might take the bus to the Transportation Center, then head to the Polynesian via the Monorail to watch the MK fireworks on the beach - is this the best place to see them outside of the park?

There aren't buses to the TTC from anywhere. You could take the boat to MK and then take the monorail or a boat to the Poly, but I prefer to watch the fireworks from the TTC - the view is about the same and the audio is better.

That’s good to know. Looks like we’ll make the TTC our destination to watch the show from! Thanks!

Leave a lot of time if taking a bus from Disney Springs to a hotel. That always seems to be the transportation people complain about the most.

Here's another question - I believe I read that bus ETA's are available on the Mobile App once on property - does the Mobile App show BUS ETA's for Disney Springs as well?

When we went in August the ETAs were on the app but only from the resort to the destination.

So I still looked it up because it showed estimated arrival time and luckily it was the same bus doing the round trip thing.

We were in AK one morning, ate lunch and were going to walk over to Pandora just to see it. I told my dh that the bus from the BC was due to arrive in 10ish minutes so he said forget it and we left instead and the bus showed up after about 5 min of us standing there.
