Dinner out - if you could pick one place to go out without kids...

my DH and i will be going out ONE night while at WDW. lol.

would you pick la cellier? not sure where else we should go or what our 'must have/romantic options' are.

Definitely wouldn't think Le Cellier. Tables are way close together, and due to the popularity I find that they really rush you through your meal.

I think I would pick Citrico's at GF, or California Grill.

Despite its enormous popularity< I have had a couple of bad experiences at California Grill. I would recommend Flyin Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk. Very few children eat here, and the service and food is outstanding. Dining at the bar (as acouple) or at the Chef's table (bar-like atmosphere where you can observe food preperation through glass window) is a great experience!

Can't consider Le Cellier a "romantic" choice, the tables are practically right on top of each other.

If you're not on the dining plan and don't mind the cost, maybe consider Bistro de Paris.

Shulla is a great place. DH and I went alone on Valentines day. Order smart and it won't cost that much. not on DDP

If not on DDP (or don't want to use it for a wonderful meal) go to Bistro de Paris upstairs in the France pavilion. It is very subdued, the tables are not close together, and they do not have a children's menu so children are discouraged.

absolutely love flying fish on bw, other good ones for me are jiko, bluebazoo. victoria and alberts, bistro de paris. california grill, narcoossee's, and citricos have good food can be hit or miss mainly on service. food at le cellier is really good but i wouldn't consider it romantic with the tables being so close. when my sister and i went last year it felt like the people on either side of us were at the same table. very close quarters.

We're going to yachtsman for our date night - dh pick. I might have chosen narcoosees because after dinner you can watch fireworks and the water parade. But yachtsman will be great, and I know dh will love it

Not sure if my idea of romance/good time is the same as yours, but Raglan Road is fun without kids. Listen to a live Irish band and get sloshed. Good times, good times.

We hope to be going as a Grand Gathering this February and DMIL has offered us two nights out while looking after our children. One night we were thinking of just the two of us going out. DH was thinking of Brown Derby but I am also liking the suggestions here too. It very hard on me to think of places that are not so "children friendly" as we always go vacationing with children.
