We are two family's and will have three kids between us (ages 2.5, 8, 10). We currently have a 5:10 reservation at 1900 Park Fair and a 5:20 at Crystal Palace. We are planning on catching Spectro which is at 8 PM.

We are currently planning on doing a 1900 Park Fare breakfast later in the week and I know they have ate Pooh characters at that but the 1900 PF dinner would be our only princess meal (the 8 year old is a girl). I am concerned about the traveling to and from GF cutting things close as far as Spectro is concerned.

What would y'all recommend?

I think you should be fine with the 1900 Park Fare . The monorail is quick and dinner at 1900 goes quick because of the buffet. It appears from your post that you have two dinner reservations for the same evening. That is how I am interpreting you post. Please make sure to cancel one as reservations are hard to come by and another family could enjoy it. (Double booking is a very touchy subject here be prepared for possible flames!)

We did park fare a year ago and thought the food was pretty good. Not quiet place but the kids had fun

The MK is the first monorail stop from the GF - you will have plenty of time to get to Spectro! The Stepsisters at 1900 PF are a hoot! Have fun!:)

I do have two and that's why I am asking the question, I want to cancel one of them ASAP!

You will be fine to get back in time for Spectro. One way to help with that cause is to arrive at 1900 a bit early, say around 15 minutes. Its a wonderful meal. I usually allow 90 minutes for a character meal on the monorail so you will have plenty of time.

Now that said, CP is also wonderful and even though getting to the GF is not a big deal, being inside the park is nice. However, you will see Pooh and friends at 1900's breakfast.

I would say to stick with 1900, your 8 year old dd would love the show those stepsisters put on and seeing Cinderella and Prince Charming dance is magical. I know my 11 year old dd thought it was and I have never seen so many wide eyed, delighted little girls as I did at that meal when we did it in June.

And definitely cancel ASAP, Disney Dining is starting to cancel the second double reservation. Not in all cases by any means but it does happen. And I can see why you did this, I have done it too, its frazzling trying to get those ADR's all worked out!

Why not have an early dinner at the Wave over at Contemporary. The food is fantastic. They open at 5:30pm. You can walk from MK, then walk back. Very easy!
