We have booked for the MK DP for our Disney arrival night. We will be in Orlando beforehand and our spending 3 nights at Disney in the middle of our trip. We are a bit unsure what to do about lunch or dinner. We currently have a Crystal Palace lunch ressie for 2:15 but given our other plans we don't think this will work. We will be at DTD and BBB in the morning, checking into BWI in the afternoon and obviously MK in the evening. Does anyone have any suggestion what we should do food wise. Would it be best to have a big lunch and then a small dinner to make room for all of those yummy desserts. If it helps, it will be me, DH, DS3 and DD2 so it can't be anywhere too fancy.

Thanks in advance.

If it were me i would just eat a early dinner around 4:30 or late lunch at 3:00. I wouldnt have both lunch & dinner it would be either or.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking. Would you try to change Crystal Palace to an early dinner ressie or would a buffet be a bad idea?

We ate at the Plaza at 4ish and definetely were hungry at 9 when the party started.

My plan is to fill up on a 11:40 Crystal Palace lunch buffet, then a light CS dinner at 4:00 followed by Wishes Dessert Buffet

That is similar to our original plan which is Crystal Palace at 2:15 for lunch then CS food probably Casey's for a light dinner then DP at 9.

However, we have BBB at DTD at 10:50 because my relatives want to see DD getting made up but don't have park tickets. Then we were heading to MK for CP lunch. Then we had to check in BWI, get settled in our room and grab a bite to eat. Then head over to MK for about 6ish. Spend some time in the park. Get some pics with characters, DS and DDD in her princess gear. Then make our way to the DP.

It just seemed like a lot of back and forthing. But then I don't really know what the alternative is.

We are doing Crystal Palace for breakfast, splitting Plaza for lunch, then splitting something at Cosmic Rays for supper, and getting Uncrustables at the Main Street Bakery using snack credits for the kids for supper. I am hoping this will leave plenty of room for desserts! Desserts! DESSERTS!!
