Dinner at Yachtsman steakhouse

Hi everyone. I am new on here, and didn't really know where to post this. Has anyone eaten at the Yachtsman Steakhouse over at Disney's Beach and Yacht club resort? I was watching the Disney marathon on the Travel Channel yesterday, and they talked all about the Beach and Yacht club, and then they took you to the restaurant. It looked fabulous. My brother, sis-in-law and nephew are going in May, and they are steak conniseurs, sorry, spelled it wrong, plus they are doing the atkins diet and they love steak. I thought it would be neat for them to try it. Also, is it ok to bring children, and is there a dress code? Thanks for any and all info!!

We were there in September for our anniversary. It was very nice, staff was excellent and some families did have children there. Our dinner was delicious. We had a mini wedding cake with ours (a suprise for hubby) and they did a wonderful job on that. It was a beautiful resort and we were able to walk to epcot afterwards.

My wife and I ate there this February and it was outstanding. The staff and food was great.

We took our son, who is 12 and he also loved it.

I was just there last weekend, the staff is really good. We have never had a bad meal there and we go about 4-5 times a year. The dress code is Business casual. I have seen children there and they have never been a problem there always well behaved.

This steakhouse, still has a butcher on site so lots of fresh cuts of meat.

If they still have it, be sure to try their little sampler of desserts. I was on free dining, but it's worth ordering even if you're not!

Agreed! We tried the sampler creme brulee and it was incredible. I'm a veg and can only give the restaurant a medium review based on my ravioli dinner, but DH and his brother got the steak and said it was really good and well worth it. The staff is very attentive without being obnoxious and the atmosphere is nice.
