Dinner at Victoria and Albert's, December 3, 2002 - Pics Now Added -1 more pic - TLK

Wow - that sounds like an amazing dining experience! I was choosing my preferences as you described the menu....that soup *does* sound great!

So Marla my friend....can we get a group together to go there when I celebrate my 30th birthday? ;) Let's set a date for March 25, 2005. I'll even treat you to a Mickey bar afterwards ;)

Thanks for sharing your dinner with us -- and happy belated birthday Dave :)

I 've always felt the tables at V&A are set a "correct" distance apart--never felt cramped or crowded. And despite having sat in the "dome" area any # of times, never noticed any particular problem overhearing conversations at other tables.
But since this has come up more than once--perhaps Uncleromulus is going hard of hearing;)

Joe - it is a date - and we can celebrate mine a little early since it is the 28th!:D

Sounds like a perfectly heavenly evening! Thanks for sharing!

for the great menu and enjoying it with you and also the great photos.......these are the best.......

What a wonderfully delicious sounding meal, and the pics were great. We've only been to V&A once, but will definitely go again.
It is truly glorious dining experience.
Thanks for sharing in such wonderful detail. :D

If you think you'd feel out of place, try the Chefs Table. They put a table back in the kitchen area (really, it's in a nice little alcove) and you get to watch the chefs put everything together and eat a bit of everything. There were five of us back there on Sept. 5 and we got pretty silly with the wine pairings. The best part was passing around ALL the desserts (we got one of each). It costs a little more than the main dining room and you have to book it waaay in advance. The chef told us they were planning to put two tables back there so that they could get up to 12 people in.

The 5 of us are intending to have dinner at the Chefs Table every other year (which is the most we could possibly afford it).

What an amazing dining experience! Who says food at WDW is gussied up burgers and fries? I certainly don't!

Thanks for sharing your post!
